The real name of this dance is "Ludira Madura", not "Ludira Madu" (so it has not the same meaning). Where did you film this nice Serimpi ? The pendopo of Mangkunegaran ? Among the lot of serimpi I have seen, it is this one I prefer.

i have a same opinion as well..it derived from I.S.K.S P.B. V Maduran ancestor, this dance was made for his mother which is a Princess from Pamekasan when P.B IV sent her back to Madura for war (somehow its unreasonable scandal) reason.

so, Ludira Madura means 'darah Madura' / 'maduran blood' but recently we used to named it for just Ludira Madu (and yeah, definitely with different meanings)
