  • I hate it when my boat gets encrusted with ballerina's. Always so expensive to get rid of, and they fuck up the crew like nobodies business.

I suggest using Rap and or R+B music to get rid of them... that or techno, it usually confuses them, causing them to lose balance and topple off the boat.

Just another day in the life of a fisherman. *sigh*

  • Theres this one Russian animation clip i'm trying to find and i don't know the name of it or who did it but basicly it's history of the world done by mosquitos in the backyard. Anyone remember that?

  • what a troublesome ballerina <3

  • @greeneyedgeek Nope. There's a couple of minutes missing. But you can find this cartoon in the "Masters of Russian Animation" collection. Or, if you understand russian, here : multiki.arjlover.net/multiki/

  • Totally loved it.

  • Its just like me be standing somewhere and suddenly start dancing like that. My parents are always telling me to stop dancing. I suppose I am just addicted to ballet.

As of course it would also be me to dancing completely off the boat, though I don't think I would float through the air lol

  • whenever i'm under pressure,i watch russian cartoons or sth alikeon my ipod to relax, simple, non violent, and reminds me of early childhood :)

  • Hey, I know there is a second portion to this cartoon, the one about a big storm and the ship almost getting sucked into a huge Maelstrom-like vortex. You have to find it - it shows how useful it can be to have a ballerina on board. :-)

  • Yes!! I saw it two times... :( I want to see that part

  • wow she was so beautiful! very graceful and nice. ;)

  • I wonder what book she's reading. It must be something about ballet. I wanna get hold of it! LOL

The way she got on the boat was very nice by the way. LOL Haha! I wish I could see a real ballerina do that - in a more realistic way. ;D

  • LOL That was so funny! I liked it a lot. LOL

I find it really funny that the men were trying to follow her, especially the turn-out. LOL Haha!!! Cute!!!

    Good job!!! ;D

  • A 1969 animated film directed by Lev Atamanov.

  • Alfred was my uncle. Literally. My father's cousin. It's lovely to see that people outside of Russia even know who he is, much less love his work.

  • I'm glad to let you know that even here, in Israel, people know and greatly appreciate Schnittke... :-)

  • Really? Oh, respect!

  • So I know this is sort of out there, but Alfred was my uncle. No joke. My father's cousin to be exact. And yes, that is my last name. It's lovely to see that people are still thoroughly enjoying his work..

  • @pingvin37 a part of my media dissertation is on this piece, about eastern European animation in relation to tim burton, how eastern European styles influenced contrast and are similar

  • @Digger318 that actually sounds like a really good read

  • Oh, if you only knew how much I like this composer! The film is superb, highly reccomended.

You know, Schnittke was a very close friend of my 1st teacher. I actually met the guy.

  • where is the ending? :( it was the best part :(

  • how DOES it end?

  • ...she saves the boat from a storm

  • You mean that wasn't the ending? :-< How does it end??? Oh, please tell me if you know! ^-^

  • ...she saves the boat from a storm

  • Haha--good for the ballerina! Thank you for sharing :)

  • I'll try to download all of in on my channel next week if U want U can watch the ending

  • Thanks! :D

  • Este es un trabajo impersionante, fino, de un gran acabado técnico. La música es de alta calidad, no se puede esperar algo diferente de este genio del siglo XX.

  • Awesome!!! Schnittke is the best.

  • hooray!
