I was there for this show - my personal favorite of the dozen or so times I've seen him since1984. Always regretted missing the River Tour (I was 14-15 at the time) so this concert was a dream come true. 'Ramrod' is (admittedly strangely) - my favorite Springsteen song. I had this blaring from my piece-of-shit Chrysler K-Car in 1984 and torment my young daughter with in the car to this very day ... Magnificent --just such a joyful tune...
I just traveled over the George Washington Bridge to see it, but it was worth going! That show was just too freaking awesome! Was so glad to be there (on the floor in the front row, too)
@AspenBrookProduction Yeah it's sad how few "young" Bruce fans are out there. Now I'm 14 and I've been a Bruce fan since I was 3, but the only 3 Bruce fans my age that I know only know pretty much only know the basics... Born in the USA, Dancing in the Dark, Thunder Road, Born to Run, Radio Nowhere, etc.
@Tigerpuffer Depends where your from. Springsteenmania will never die! !! I'm 21 by the way and would go as far to say as I'm obsessed in the limits of being a straight guy
I flew from Jerusalem - Israel to NY, (more than 6000 miles ) just to be in the show. I can not find words to describe this concert. Yes, I was blessed too, be on Sunday , November 8 , 2009 in the MDG .Amazing. thank you Bruce!!!!!!
I was BLESSED to be in attendance at both New York concerts....but Sundays concert was just RIDICULOUSLY amazing! "The River"...in its glorious entirety! Never before and never again! I never danced so much, clapped so hard, or screamed so loud. Thank you Bruce!!! SPRINGSTEEN IS GOD!
TheGregory99...that was a long way to travel to see Bruce....but I know it was so worth it. No concert will ever top "The River" show at MSG! Magic happened that night :)
I just placed an order, but cannot email you because hotmail is being rejected by my server - some sort of issue with Microsoft. Will need to get back to you when this is rectified, unless you have other contact info you can email me. Stew

I was offered tickets for this show, but turned them down because the show was on a Sunday. It doesn't get much more stupid than that.

The River has the Boss' saddest and funnest songs. What a great show this must have been.
