I like how he calls it fragile...it is. It is a work of art and magnificent cinematography but yes a weaker plot in compares other works. It makes sense to let a movie simmer in the theatre before national beat down because that beat down on the release day can be construed as exuding media influence on film watchers. And why is the interviewer so antagonistic? He does not have agree with you. Seriously? Who is she?
Mr. Bhansali's movies are timeless. Khamoshi, Devdas, Hum dil de chuke sanam, Black and Saawariya. Watch these movies over and over and over again- if you get tired of them, sell the DVD but never doubt the talent and flawless vision of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
SLB is absolutely right. Saawariya is his best movie (I saw it 3 times in cinema). Audences who didn't like it were "stupid" and love only silly comedies. Most of peoples reactions as follows: If an audience tells u: the movie is bad, then u think it's bad and u don't go to watch it, or if u did, u change yr mind about it. So.. If they go right, u go right, if they go left u go left and u can't judge a movie with your own eyes!!
@aldallah if somebody does not like the same movie that u like, does not make them stupid. If u watched sawariya 3 times, then i guess u r the biggest stupid around. No offence, but here is the thing, i do not doubt on Sanjay's talent. he is amazing and tries to do different all the time. He tried the same thing on Sawariya but the actors fucked it up. The idea was good (not great), was different but should had a better actor.

I have a lot of respect for SLB. We really need more filmmakers like him. I am sick of the nonsense comedies that come out in theatres every week.
