  • I had the same experience with my son. after pitocen, epidural and 17 hours of labor I was told C section was needed to prevent higher risk of infection. My son was posterior but not extra large by any means. It was mixed emotions. I was so in love with my baby but so sad about my experience. i am getting the baby itch again and i am getting a midwife and pursuing home birth this time. Thank you for sharing your story

  • Thank you for sharing! Very inspirational!

  • Congrats, your baby is beautiful!

  • wow That is truly inspiring, well done so glad she had the experiance she dreamed off. The dream i hope to have,i had a c-section with my son, everything about my labour was unnatural and afer 16hours and both having an infection my son was born unnaturally i hope i can do myself this time feel so positive about it!!! thanx

  • wow, our stories are almost the same. Your video made me cry! I am going for a vbac for my second. thankyou x

  • i had to have a csection with my first i havent had anymore because im scared to have a natural birth. my csection was for a good cause tho i was a month early and her heart beat dropped they couldnt get my contractions to stop :(

  • Congrats to the mommy

  • Wow, great job Mommy! I am posting this on my Kind Crunchy Parents group on myspace to show every woman there that VBAC can be done.

  • I had the exact same experience as your first birth with my son 7 months ago. I originally wanted to have a home birth, but everyone talked me out if it. I regret that so much. I didn't even know you could have a home birth after a c-sec. When I have another baby I am going to do it my way. Thanks for enlightening me.

  • Glad I could help! Good luck next time, you can do it!

  • Wow! We are in such similar situations! In 2001 I had an emergency c-section after a 24 hour labour with my first princess. I was told that it was not wise to even attempt a vbac with my second child. My 2nd princess was born vaginally with no pain relief in Nov 2006 after only 7 hours of labour! No drips, no stitches no nothing!

You have such beautiful girls! I am very happy for you that you had the experience you wished for!

  • you have beautiful children. Your baby looked so pretty at 2:50-2:54. She looked so pink and perfect. I'm very happy for you. Even though I won't be giving birth anytime soon(i'm 17) you have convinced me to give birth at home when I do.

  • Praising God for your vbac, homebirth! wonderful video!!!! Holly from ICAN yahoo group
