I had the same experience with my son. after pitocen, epidural and 17 hours of labor I was told C section was needed to prevent higher risk of infection. My son was posterior but not extra large by any means. It was mixed emotions. I was so in love with my baby but so sad about my experience. i am getting the baby itch again and i am getting a midwife and pursuing home birth this time. Thank you for sharing your story
wow That is truly inspiring, well done so glad she had the experiance she dreamed off. The dream i hope to have,i had a c-section with my son, everything about my labour was unnatural and afer 16hours and both having an infection my son was born unnaturally i hope i can do myself this time feel so positive about it!!! thanx
i had to have a csection with my first i havent had anymore because im scared to have a natural birth. my csection was for a good cause tho i was a month early and her heart beat dropped they couldnt get my contractions to stop :(
I had the exact same experience as your first birth with my son 7 months ago. I originally wanted to have a home birth, but everyone talked me out if it. I regret that so much. I didn't even know you could have a home birth after a c-sec. When I have another baby I am going to do it my way. Thanks for enlightening me.
Wow! We are in such similar situations! In 2001 I had an emergency c-section after a 24 hour labour with my first princess. I was told that it was not wise to even attempt a vbac with my second child. My 2nd princess was born vaginally with no pain relief in Nov 2006 after only 7 hours of labour! No drips, no stitches no nothing!
You have such beautiful girls! I am very happy for you that you had the experience you wished for!
you have beautiful children. Your baby looked so pretty at 2:50-2:54. She looked so pink and perfect. I'm very happy for you. Even though I won't be giving birth anytime soon(i'm 17) you have convinced me to give birth at home when I do.
Thank you so much for sharing your awesome journey. What a blessing. You rock Momma! Too big. Geeze that seems like the catchall anymore. So glad you listened to your heart!
I love seeing the difference on your faces in the home birth pictures. Sheer joy. Your hubby is *glowing* and YOU are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your story!
