Never knew Wye river had all these cool tracks, I stay at kennet river most summers for a week or so, are there many tracks I don't have to worry about a rego or anything because I have an RM125??

Hi trezza,

Legally you at least have to have rec reg to ride on any of the tracks around Wye because it's all on public land. It doesn't take much to do and then you're all set and don't have to keep watching over your shoulder for the police when you're riding out there.

I thought Victoria only had rec reg? coz when i got my crf230 from i person in Victoria it was set for rec reg. Well and still is but we modified the rear light.

Wye River is in Victoria Moto. I think Tassie had rec reg for a while aswell but it was stopped for some reason.

Theres a nice hill a couple minutes back up the track from that river crossing.

What helmet cam is that? I've been having so many problems with mine. Heading up to Wye tomorrow, should be awesome!

You're welcome mate. Glad you like the vid. I am using the Pov1 helcam by V.I.O. at the moment. It's a great robust and able unit. I've long forgotten about the expense since it has performed very well in all conditions. I use the Panasonic SDR-SW@) handy cam for other vid recording for the same reasons. Both are waterproof and very robust. I hope the info helps.

Had a great weekend up there, most of the tracks have just been graded. It was raining on the way up there (as the otways does to you). With all the graded tracks it was thick mud, great fun.

Curtis tk has been graded, but man its still got a nice hill! I might get some helmet camera footage up later.

Yeah that Curtis Track is still waaaaay fun even graded. Nice and open MX style terrain. I absolutely nailed it the whole way along it recently. Nice and damp too. It's unreal if you like fast stuff too and not just an ST only rider. The Wye Track is the same.

Not that I would ever dream of riding a closed track...
