Weird. I grew up with these games. Started with Yellow. Put in hundreds of hours over the years with each of the games. The newer games are nowhere as good as red in my opinion. Man, I miss being a kid and playing red while my friends played red on their gameboys, all sitting in a circle outside on the grass when it was a sunny day. Not a fucking care in the world. When life was easy, uncomplicated, and my perception of reality was innocent, and I didn't know any better. Those were the days.

I remember this, Me and friends would see who could beat the game over night. and I had trouble dealing with lorelie, i picked charmander, one of my friends picked squirtle, and the other picked bulbasaur, we all had trouble with her until, the friend with the bulbasaur lucked out by ko' ing all of them, while me and my friend were still at lorelie, then we all made it to gary at the same time, and i won because charizard owned my friend's venusaur, and alakazam owned my friend's blastoise.
