there's no need to attack her. she never claimed to be a great writer. it's her first book she ever wrote after all, and it's not her fault the world went crazy over it. i admit, it's a little overrated, but it's still a good story. there are a lot of movies and novels out there which are much worse, but they don't get the amount of criticism twilight does because they're not as famous. all the hype makes people expect too much from the series.

I love how we all really want Midnight Sun even though we know the story. But I agree with you all, it is so well written and a brilliant insight to all of the Cullen's. It's probably my favourite of all the Twilight books, (except Breaking Dawn possibly), but I feel like I could be saying that because it isn't finished yet and I'm still excited about it. Edward is such a brilliant character, I'm only half way through what she's written so far, and I've laughed so many times. So well written.
And this is why we haven't seen the book midnight sun. As much as I can't wait to read it - its like forcing her to do a day book report. It wont b her best. Any have test anxieties? Kinda the same thing

The Host is my favorite of all her books. If you haven't read it by far it is significantly more captivating than twilight. SIGNIFICANTLY! (although i will admit i have read the twilight saga three times now)

Wow. Some of theses comments are intense! How come we cant just all agree that Twilight was a fun brain candy read, and that it was fun imagining a cute vampire. I mean, I enjoyed twilight for what it was. And she's not even that bad if a writer. If she wants to take time traveling and mermaids and put it together, fine. It shouldn't affect your opinion of mermaids. Or vampires.

The Host is my favorite of all her books. If you haven't read it by far it is significantly more captivating than twilight. SIGNIFICANTLY! (although i will admit i have read the twilight saga three times now)

It opens up the characters so well. The Twilight Saga is brilliant, so well written. I guess I should give the Host a chance too, and Vampire Diaries? What are peoples thoughts on Vampire Diaries?

I do like the point of views from all of the other family members that was awesome too. I couldnt believe that she wrote a book about bree tanner and did not finish midnight sun despite its leak. I felt that bree's character or her story did not matter in the scheme of the story, her & her story had no real purpose for me. On the other hand I just couldnt put midnight sun down or the pov of the family I thought it was fascinating & they do play important roles in the books. I would like to see

Midnight sun was one of my favorites i enjoy reading both midnight sun and twilight at the same time so I can fully enjoy the dynamic that goes on and it truely makes her characters more real. I really wish that she would get over the whole thing and just write more twilight i understand her reluctance but I have a selfish desire to find out how much more interesting this story can get. There is still so much more to be revealed I dont know how she can stand to not reveal it.

Dear Stephenie Meyer, I haven't read your midnight sun draft because I know it's incomplete from the reviews I've read here in the net. I was never tempted reading it after I finished reading all the twilight series. It's just so sad and I feel incomplete too if and then I'm going to read the draft of MS. Screw the one who leaked it.
