He never actualy slags off fighters behind their backs and I have seen him often adress contentious issues to the faces of boxers in the studio. So he's never been an actual boxer, that's not the point, the appeal of hearing his knowledge is that he speaks to insiders like trainers and relations and eloquently relays that info to the fans. Never heard that story about the steak house and I've never heard him repeat a story. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of boxing. Don't hate, it's pathetic.
