@Bobbyshaker If you are going to put down religion, it would be a little more convincing if you were to provide reasons why it (religion) is a poison. It also would be advantageous to set up your credibility by correcting some of your grammatical errors.
Reminds me of the times when, as a 9-10 yr old boy, I sneaked out of the house at night to go enjoy the singing at Mt. Olive Baptist church in Slaton. I was the only white face there, but everyone made me feel at home. I have liked this kind of music ever since.
@davnkatz hahahaha.....Lord bless your heart baby. yes this is some of the best singing you will ever hear. many times when they had as we would say back then "A SINGING" i would have me a front row seat. what a time we had.
Even though im young i really love the old gospel classics like these. Im looking for this old gospel song though, im not sure of the name or who sings it but i think its called "Lord remember Me". If any one have any idea wat it is pleae let me know.
@msnickalasha sounds like you're thinking of "Remember Me" by The Caravans. They recorded two versions, one in 1962 with Cassietta George, Albertina Walker and Johneron Davis leading, and one in 2006 with Dorothy Norwood, Albertina Walker, and Delores Washington leading.
@msnickalasha YOU'RE ARE CORRECT THIS SONG WAS RECORDED ON THE APOLLO RECORDS LABLE IT WAS SUNG BY THE GOSPEL ALL STARS.TAKEN FROM THE LP THE GREATEST SPIRITUAL SINGERS APOLLO LP 489. AND IS THE 5TH SONG ON SIDE ONE.

Yes, they did do a rendition of this song. It was recorded in 1963 and led by Mavis. It was released on an LP titled "This Land", which was released on Riverside Records on Riverside LP # 3524.
