@toobly1 It took alot of patience and everyday talking to him and giving him hay, or a couple carrots and slowly gaining his trust. Rabbits aren't as delicate as people think they will defend themselves if they feel threatened. My advice is just talk to your rabbit, bribe it and slowly start petting it. eventually it will get used to you. Also just let it run around outside the cage and sit near it so it can sniff you and get used to you being around. worked for me.

Occasionally a rabbit may have something wrong with his airway that causes him to suffocate on his back. Your bunny is just fine and obviously happy.
I don't mean to be rude, but what your bunny is doing is going into a state, when rabbits are on their backs like that, their lungs collapse, I found that out the hard way, please dont do that to your rabbit, it may look like hes sleeping, but his lungs are getting excessive pressure put on them, making it them hard for them to stay awake. I dont mean to sound rude, at all, thats not like me, but its not good for your rabbit. you have an adorable rabbit and im glad it has a loving family! (:

I don't mean to be rude, but what your bunny is doing is going into a state, when rabbits are on their backs like that, their lungs collapse, I found that out the hard way, please dont do that to your rabbit, it may look like hes sleeping, but his lungs are getting excessive pressure put on them, making it them hard for them to stay awake. I dont mean to sound rude, at all, thats not like me, but its not good for your rabbit. you have an adorable rabbit and im glad it has a loving family! (:

@kenzorama263 Hm, that is frightening and indeed the rabbit is breathing unnaturally fast... on some other video on youtube there is a lady who shows how you can hypnotize a young bunny... put it on its back! So I am a believer in what you say. It's definately not good if you ask me.

Gorgeous bunny, but really, she isn't sleeping. Jenny247ful is right and I've had rabbits for years. Put them on their backs and they all do it. It's a nerve thing, not a sleep thing...
