  • Sie spricht sehr gut Deutsch!

  • Natalie speaks fluent German??:O

  • Yes, she wanted to be a german teacher :D

  • Oh my goodness she speaks perfect German!! French, English...probably Italian. She is amazing

  • harhar she speaks German with a French accent. Sounds interesting.

  • It's quite disconcerting that a superb talent such as Dessay does not get as much publicity as the centerfold of Opera-Lite-Meets-MTV Anna Netrebko. The former can sing superbly, while the latter seems to make up for her flawed singing by flaunting her physique without any class.

  • Totally agree. But I think that such a great artists as Dessay don't need much publicity. They are popular among true music lovers, this is more important.

  • @TheInquisitive4Ever I do prefer Dessay to Netrebko, but Netrebko has a beautiful voice and I CAN'T IMAGINE Natalie speaking about her in the way that you do. Remember too, that Natalie is a lot older, is hugely intelligent, works like a dog (her words) and did have training in acting and dance before beginning to sing. As for Netrebko being "without any class"... think about it. Would Anna Netrebko have EVER said anything like what you said, about anybody? Netrebko has a lot of class IMHO

  • She speaks PERFECT French, English, Italian, and German. Amazing. TOTALLY jealous.

  • YEAH. Oh my God. She's so amazing. Still, you can hear some French coloring in her German--especially her 'r's--and a slight American inflection on some of her vowels in English. Not that it matters haha.

  • yes thats true, and you can hear some vocal inflection in her english that comes from french... but I just think it's even more adorable! :-D

  • I like the French r's. Gives it a unique colour.

And MY GOD. This blew my mind the first time I saw it!

  • And she speaks very good German, too! Brava! Thanks Sopherl219 for posting!! :o)

  • Thank you very much!!!!

  • could someone translate pleaaaaaaaase??

  • just added a translation in the "about this video" section!! :)
