My dad was stationed at an AF base in Alabama back b4 my 2 older sisters were born. I was born on Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage.

@401RoadWarrior ...i think the term is airforce brat...lol, but I was 3 or 4 years old when he got out; age 2 when they left Alaska. (was in AF for 11 yrs). When I went back to my birthplace in 2006, Elmendorf was closed off to visitors, so that was disappointing.

Unfortunately... TONS of videos, when you will see the rest surely you're gonna react like" WTF, this guy is damn crazy driving so much in just one road trip!".

U/L videos is my only HUGE problem, DSL High Speed Internet but max 0.64 Mb/s for U/L, and one 15-min video = 1.8 GB, so ~7 HRS for U/L.

When the entire road trip was over: ~24 HRS of video, most of them saved on the laptop while on the road, my camera can store max 14 hrs of video.

@18wheeler76 It's EXTREMELY hard to make such HQ videos, NOBODY on the Internet cares about long videos in 1080p, and when you get to see REAL TIME (very few) 1080p videos they are all downgraded to a lower 1080p resolution, ppl dont wanna waste their time when everything you do here is for... FREEEEEEEEEEEEE. Also 90% of ppl who bother to watch such videos don't even care about a comment or to press 'Like'. Free country, free ppl, nobody is forced to watch and/or make comments.

@18wheeler76 U read the book, '1984' by George Orwell, I wished I'd have read the book or watch the video and still able 2 live in a free country like USA, I was born and lived TWENTY (27) YEARS in the GULAG, my parents and their generation, 50+ years, '1984' is good but not even close to how real life looked like in a COMMUNIST country. Wonder how many ppl in America lived and survived the GULAG, holocaust lasted ~7 years, COMMUNISM: since Lenin up to 1989, 200+ MILLION ppl died in labor camps.
