I know height can't be changed. Being 2 inches below the average NA-male height is significant. One inch is a bit below, not 2 inches. For the average height for a male worldwide, 5'7" is still conisdered very short. I'm not from China or the Philipines. It means nothing to me that over there I am not considered short. Here is one thing for you to know, women (a large % of them) in those two countries are interested in dating much taller guys. I did some research on that

Yes it has been brought to my attention that I am a short guy. It hurts me when that is said, but i am not insecure. It just shows that many women are bitchy and prejudice against short guys. Me and my brother have very different life styles but still we have exactly same height. Tall parents produce tall kids, short produce short kids, it doesn't take a genius to notice this pattern. You can't fix genetics by eating broccoli everyday.

There were tall uncles and a tall grandparent. Unfortunately genetics can screw u. My dad is 5'9" and my mom is 5'2" but most of the men on my mom's side are short and on my dad's side, there's am ix. that's how I got screwed.
You and I are the same age. I barely scrape 5'10" and everyone I meet who is 5' 7" certainly does not look short to me, I can still talk to them pretty much eye-to-eye and all without having to tilt my head downwards at all. Another good thing, shorter people lose less height as they age. My 88-year grandfather is a little shy of 5'7" and is still the same height as he's always been. Another interesting thing, we both wear 30-inch inseam pants/jeans.

5 8 is where supposed 'normal' height for a guy starts. it ends at 5 11 which is considered tall-ish.
anything below 5 8 is considered a little short.
