All those time I watched this show, I thought it was about death...until the last 6 minutes of the final episode at least. Then I realized only the final episode really shows death to you, rest of the show just prepares you for the reality of death.

i think the whole thing prepares you for the reality of death. the last 6 minutes just make you realize that even your favorite characters will die and therefor it makes you realize that you too will die.

I think the entire show feels like it is all about death but then the last six minutes makes you realize that it is all about life - knowing that you must make every minute worthwhile because death will really happen someday to all of us.
