The name in the top right of the screen gives it away.....It's called THE OPEN.......There is NO British in the title

@unclenewy, stop being like the R&A. This tournament was called the British Open Championship for 100 years. Have the actual coverage from the final round, of course it needs to be restored like any old VHS recording. These old films are a mess, this was a test project, for the 75 & 76 Open films which needs a ton of frame painting cause of pixel drop outs. However the 70,71,72, & 74 Opens are MINT. Just about completed the 78 British Final Round Coverage, which turned out really well.

@hynodesignsclassics It has never been called The British Open, only foreigners, and especially Americans, call it the British Open because they call the U.S. Open The Open. It's name is THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP, it even says it in the top right of your clip......and as a Scotsman you should know better
