  • It was 1980, my junior yr of high school. My school-hood boyfriend drove 10 miles out to my house at 9:30 at night to play me this song. He had just recorded it from the radio onto a small tape recorder. I was surprised to see him on my doorstep so late on a school night. My early-to-bed parents excused the intrusion because he was so excited about sharing this song with me, stating "you HAVE to hear this awesome song!" Ah memories... It still fills my heart with joy every time I hear it!

  • My wife walked to me through a grove of trees on our wedding day. This song was the wedding march. Spend my life with you baby

  • This album solidified my status as a Keaggy fan...thanks for making it available!

  • Heard this song for the first time @ one of his concerts!

  • What a great musician and person. I took a guitar clinic with him in Oregon back in the 90s. He sure can pick great for a guy missing a finger.

  • @Reversism It would be a singular privilege to attend a clinic taught by Phil. And he can sure pick great for -- well, any natural-born human being.

  • Truly a beautiful song!

  • I love this! Phil has blessed me for many years. You can hear the joy of the Lord and His Spirit in his voice and music.

  • Having met and spoken with Phil for an hour or so before a concert, I have to say that he is one of the the most sincere and kind hearted Gentlemen I have met, and I will truly enjoy a good chunk of eternity hanging out with him.

  • I just saw Phil last weekend at a place called "The Stand" in Oxford, MI... awesome !!!!

  • This is the first Christian Album I ever bought. I became a Cristian in June of 1981 and had to toss all my Rock albums out. Someone from my Church tuned me on to Phil Keaggy and many others like Harvest and Keith Green and I have been blessed ever since. Phil was and still is one of the top 5 Guitarists in the world and yet he has remained true to mainly producing Christian Music for almost 40 years. Thank You so much for posting these Albums!

  • @raygoto Our stories are very similar. I gave my life to Christ in the spring of '81, leaving behind a life of drugs and violence. This song was one of the very first Christian songs I was introduced to, and even after all these years it still brings tears to my eyes. I would love to see him in concert someday. You mentioned Keith Green. He, along with Phil, was one of my favorite Christian artists. I was privileged to see Keith in concert back in early '83. God's blessings upon you Raygoto.

  • Hallelujah! I haven't heard this song in over 20 years - a wayward child has tears in his eyes - thank you; thank you; thank you.........

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Boy, this takes me back to my younger days and a simpler time. Christian music was so good then and my faith was not yet so beat up. Thank you.

  • @startingoverful You are VERY welcome!!! :D You are MOST welcome! =D

  • @tiffanycardenas

thank you for uploading this song....He continues to use His musician to play the strings of our hearts.....

  • .....In your presents Lord I will be satisfied ....

Oh come Lord Jesus. the love of many has grown cold and even some of your servants are growing weary. Give us your strength through your Holy Spirit. to fulfill your work. To preach the good news of your salvation.

  • Thank you!!!!

I had this album years ago and played it constantly. What a joy to find PH'LIP SIDE on You tube! I do pray it is realeased someday on CD "Cause there's a hope...In my heart!"
