Of all the talk show/commentators on the air, Lou Dobbs and Neil Cavuto are the worst from a purely aesthetic viewpoint. They're the greatest combination of stupidity and arrogance. Every intonation is smug.

Hey,who among us doesn't think that this agency has a responsibility to actually verify that imports are safe for the American public? Well, I'm sure we all feel better now that the CPSC has effectively outlawed all the small American businesses who did not create hazardous products by passing this moronic CPSIA. Ironic that, whenever foreigners break our laws, the response of our gov't is to punish Americans. "...and none dare call it treason." These people are not the good guys.Go Lou Dobbs!

This is a mess. The CPSC is now being required to enforce the Public Law 110-314 Beginning on August 14, 2009, yep that's 2009. The worse part of this law is the Mandatory-Third-Party-Testing. This will only cost a small business ~ $500 per test. Time to tell congress to gete their heads out of their ,,, ah Personalits and start representing the public.

CPSC spends more time keeping records and completing paper work than actually protecting the public. Over the past ten years they have forgotten why the agency was created.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is just one of those unsung agencies that does important work for the public — the CPSC is responsible for reviewing thousands of consumer products to see which, if any, pose a health risk and might need to be recalled. Like most of the government, the Bush gang has undermined the agency severely through cronyism and hackery.
