this "extended intro" happens mostly at live shows and concerts.. these things are done to keep the fans surprised.. A band or artist tend to switch up some things, when it comes to the live performance.. plus this is the perfect time to give the DJ a little spotlight..

Yes he does! =D From 2:58 to 3:30 he used something like a violin sample or something like that! I never heard this before on a live performance of papercut! =)

nope , he does that sample all the time , just u cant see it at live concert , cuz normally the camera didnt shoot him during that moment , and the sound sample were very low , but it was very loud in this event

Chester have much more condition in singing that's the problem ;] and I'm sorry but chester is a way better then mike ^^ you probebly think that because you heard no roads left and in between but that are studio songs, why do you think they never play them live? :] In the studio can every voice sound beautifull.

Why are you talking to me about Chester's singing and w/e problem? And why do you assume that it's because I stated that Mike's voice was as good as Chester's just because of those two songs? I'm not the type who passes understatements with only two songs. Mike's backing vocals are extroadinary, even when it sounds corny, he still does it without being ashamed because when you rip the backing vocals out, you're gonna make fun of Mike, or not.

Mike has a great voice in my opinion and it''s not just studio making it sound good. Plenty of performances of him singing could make you wonder if he could be a lead singer, but you are right that he get's tired alot.

Yes indeed, that is a sample from Faint.

There's 3 samples I hear at the end. There's the one violin sample he hits many times that's very audible; there's the one underlying sample that sounds like it's a little longer that is repeated every 4th measure or so; lastly, there's that one Faint sample that he hits only one time.

@djthemoney I think the audio on this is a raw board feed, and since this was the first song of the show, they were probably still adjusting levels throughout the song. The easiest way to notice that is how quiet Mike is when he first comes in, then they bring him up.
