  • Found your Takoyaki Recipe, Ochi ^_^ Thx a bunch! If this tutorial didn't come out the way you wanted, you can always post another Takoyaki tutorial. I would like to see you use Kimchi, Tuna Mayo, or Corn for the filling if you decide to make another video. BTW love your taste in music for all your videos ^_^

  • hey!! thnks x this osom tuto!! really helpfull!.... one question, whats the name of the sauce u put on top of the takoyaki?? (it's brown)...and u know other names to call it so I can search x it here in my country? ....thnks again!!! lov the video!! :D

  • Hello, ochikeron! (I'm sorry, it's me again >_<;;)

I love how resourceful you are with the brush thing~ I'd like to ask if it would also be okay to be used when brushing yakitori sauce on skewered chicken while I'm grilling them? (it's probably a stupid question, but I'd like to hear your opinion)

    よろしくおねがいします!\(^_^)/

  • @10726209 sorry for this late reply. but it is not a brush as you can see, so not for yakitori X( i hope you can find a brush for it. i recommend silicone brush. it is pretty easy to wash :)

  • The last one is so cute! :D

  • Hi there, you ARE GREAT!

Just one question: I ate takoyaki in japan and now we are trying to do them with my friends. How has to be the inside? Should it cook until it's almost solid, or should it stay liquid?

When I ate them in japan my sensei told me they weren't well-cooked and the inside was creamy, so I was wondering how they should be...

  • @orangepaperairplan good question. it is creamy inside. it never gets solid, so what you had is correct ;) hehe

  • @ochikeron Thank you very much! :*

  • Hi! :D I made some today and they tasted amazing! however my takoyaki, they didn't turn out so round and nice like yours though, was it because i used a brand new pan?

  • @fleaflytickleme thank you! if you use a steel pan like mine, you might want to do the seasoning before you use it! search on youtube "Seasoning a Cast-Iron Pan" <3 my youtube friend taught me ;)

Brazil is home to the largest Japanese population outside of Japan.

1.5 million people of Japanese descent in Brazil.

The largest concentrations of Japanese people in Brazil are mostly found in the states of São Paulo and Paraná.

  • I'm not from Asia and I haven't tasted any of these dishes before but when I see you cook it makes me very hungry. Nice videos!

By the way, in your description you have used the word "directions". The proper word you should use there is "instructions". I'm not correcting you to annoy you, I'm just trying to help you out there. I wish I could speak Japanese as well as you speak English.

  • venus!

  • hey , what camera you're using ?

  • You have such a lovely and pretty face Ochikeron-chan :) You kind of look like Jessica from girls generation.

  • @hellojanga that's too nice but thank you! i have to thank for any compliment since i don't receive praise in japan. japan is too perfect and really a tough country. haha

  • @hellojanga I thought that too! Maybe Jessica combined with Sunny!

  • @RilaShinKi if you have a steel pan like mine, you can also do the seasoning before you use it! search on youtube "Seasoning a Cast-Iron Pan" <3

  • how high should the heat be when i start cooking? : O

  • @RilaShinKi when you put the ingredients in, it is better you keep the pan medium. i think we cook at around medium ;D

  • @ochikeron thx! i have the same pan as you and I think I was a bit too impatient,so my takoyaki didn't turn out quite well ^_^;; but I am motivated to retry again! :D

  • @DanielAstronomix douitashimashite :D

  • Thanks for creating this video. I recently bought a bag of the Takoyaki batter from our local Donki. But my Japanese was so bad that the instructions was a bit difficult. Mahalo! (^_^)

  • @cwlouis1 Is there any Donki in the U.S.?! i didn't know that!!! and i am glad that i made this video ♥ it is totally for you ;) hehe

  • @ochikeron Yes, I'm fortunate to live in Hawaii which has the only Donki outside of Japan. :D

  • a great video and recipe....the oil brush made with chopsticks and paper towel is awesome and is probably the best "cooking tip" I've learned in a while :)

  • nice music

  • That was really good! I liked the sausage takoyaki!

  • Hello! I have a suggestion.

The reason why the batter was sticking to the pan is not because it is old. It is because you need to "season" the pan to help form a non-stick coating to prevent food from sticking. There's an informational video that explains the process: search on youtube "Seasoning a Cast-Iron Pan".

I had the same problem myself when I bought a takoyaki pan...

    I hope this helps! ^_^

  • @VI0RIE great thanks for your advice!!!!!!!!!!!!! i didn't know that!!! i have 3 more iron pans, so i make sure i don't use dish soap or do the Seasoning :D

  • Nice video! thank you :)

  • do a video with your darling :D
