@adood101 That was basically the idea. There are about 40 NPCs in the map and they all mill about doing random things. Most of these things involve leaning against walls and sitting in chairs though. Funny thing was, the trigger for an NPC using the elevator is actually the person leaning on that wall. I thought the person who triggered the node would use the elevator, but it ended up being a completely random NPC somewhere else in the map.

Pretty much. Hammer's i/o system has all kinds of neat little tidbits for NPCs, in the food court I had it so when they sat down in the chairs sometimes they would pick up cups and things, then drop them later.
