Stupid Video. Its not like its not true but there are some facts u have to know. In young years, when the snake (phyton, anaconda) is only 3-4 meters they mostly gets eaten by crocodiles. Its like crocodiles own them in the first years and snakes own them in the later years. But its never 100% win, if the crocodile gets a bite off the snake has a problem.

The guide had said the after the snake had squeezed the gator, the gator had went into some sort of trance or sleep. The snake then swallowed the gator yet the gator snapped out of the trance and clawed half of its body out of the gator, but it ended up getting stuck and dying from what I'm seeing.

Idiots keep releasing their pet pythons when they start to get too big rather than trying to find a refuge for them. Problem is there is no natural predator for the snakes in the everglades so they become an apex predator. Would not be suprised if they were breeding now. With nothing to hunt them we could be seeing a problem soon.

@exn666 It depends on how you define "stupid". 'Killing himself' is not necessarily a mark of intelligence. I am not sure that the expression "animals are stupid" has any meaning. It is obvious they have different competences. It is a matter of degree, it is relative. We can compare competences, but we can't compare intelligence or consciousness. Some natural respect might help.

@KincumberBoy @ 20 seconds into the video that is a gator. I remember the story from that photo because it is down in the everglades. Idiots keep releasing their pet pythons when they start to get too big rather than trying to find a refuge for them. Problem is there is no natural predator for the snakes in the everglades so they become an apex predator. Would not be suprised if they were breeding now. With nothing to hunt them we could be seeing a problem soon.

@KincumberBoy The unfortunate thing is they have a ready made prey supply in the form of Nutria that were introduced during fur trade days and are reaking havoc on Florida, Georgia and Louisiana as well as possible Texas. Unfortunately the only area where the Nutria are not completely out of control is in the everglades where the snakes are.

no its wasnt fare cause there were 1 more crocodile after the snake almost swallowed it but didnt cause at the time its almost done the python would of choked and died so there was a crocodile came and helped the other one but the other one was dead about while the python was swallowing its stomach and the python could not swallow it whole because the crocodile's legs were to big to fit in the pythons huge mouth
