I had many years ago Absynth 3 when it got released around 2005 or so. It was the last money I had but I bought from my last money Absynth 3 and it was really worth the money. I had nothing to eat for the rest of the month but I had my Absynth 3!!! ;o) You don´t need food or girls if you got Absynth 3!!! Now I got Absynth 5 and I really think its light years better than Massive and all other synthesizers from other companys. You even can make beats with it if you are advanced and very good.

*LOL* well reason is also very good but it depends what you want to do and how you work. i like to design sounds, melodys and beats so reason is for me not something I need because its more like a conservative music making studio tool while i love to dive into sonical oceans and explore the unknown! ;o) i think people should get aware about their intentions... do i want to compose? or do i want to create sounddesign? do i want to do audio engineering? or just have fun?

@Nathan797979 yes, Absynth is able to create some overwhelming atmospheric sounds. There a lot of them already as a part of the software's library.

Please dont at this comment as I am completely new to this sort of thing anyway would you use this software to record? Like could i record guitar and drums into this and just save it as a song or instrumental? Or is that a completely different kind of software?

@666jony666 What you need is a Digital Audio Workstation of some description. Try either FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, or one of the many others. In a DAW you will have the ability to record instrument tracks via a microphone, and then apply EQs and Limiters etc. through the softwares mixer.

Kontakt 4 (non official). I re-arranged Sunday Recovery's song "Coma", a progressive rock song in style of Muse, Radiohead and Porcupine Tree, only with Cubase 5 and Kontakt 4 Library. The result is very realistic. In the video I tell the Set and Sounds I used.

@kilobslappin1 open up a channle in fl studio---replace----more---ref­reash----and scroll down and check the red unchecked vst or vsts you want... there some tutorials on you tube...:)

PLEASE HELP ME I CANT RUN Absynth 5 in cubase5 i installed all the 4 DDL files from the absynth5 VSTPlugins 64 bit folder into cubase5 VSTPlugins folder still not working OR em i opening it wrong in cubse i just go into edit chanle settings and inster absynth5 BUT ITS NOT ON THE LIST.?? SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME ITS KILLING ME PLEASE.
