Speaking as a Scot, I've always felt that being low-key and understated is a big part of being Scottish. We're so proud of our limitations that we actually quite like them. But I constantly find that within those limits the best things in the world happen. Think of it as a small, strong, shot, rather than a long, weak, draught. This song, and Biffy Clyro as a whole is a particularly potent example.
