Total passanger for KLIA in 2010 = 34,087,636.00. Total AA, AAX, Indo AA and Thai AA= 9,007,605.00. MH = 7,804,797.00. Total MTB= 25,080,031.00 (figure for JETSTAR in MTB, CEBU Pacific Unknown). Non MY using MTB = 17,275,234.00. KLIA manage to reach this capacity in only 13 years, so much faster than Changi (23 yrs). Still want to compare?

I am a traveller. I have been to both Malaysia and Singapore. There is no contest. Singapore wins hands down. Everything in Malaysia is 10 times better in Singapore. Hotels, roads, transportation. airports, sights to see, places to shop, areas to live in, everything. Malaysia is prosperous because of the Chinese. The Malay are just wannabe Arab idiots. All they have in their heads is Islam and Allah. If the Chinese left, Malaysia would be a dump, like Indonesia.

@nickashine1 Singapore is a tiny, tiny city. It's maximum length is only 43 km. That's like half the distance between KLIA and Kuala Lumpur. So Singapore is no miracle. Any idiot can run a small country. Malaysia is larger and more complex and as such considered better than Singapore. Singapore's focus only on economic and while Malaysia more holistic in her development. Before you judge other people just look at your own backyard. KLIA ni size je besar.. tapi passenger load takdak!! Dah 10 tahun lebih in operations, belum pun lagi mencecah 30 juta penumpang. Pasal ada LCCT lah yg as if membanyakkan passenger load. We lack business tourists, yet we want to concentrate on Low Budget travelers who are not willing to spend. That is why we don't see any of the "Big Birds" touching down at KLIA. MAHB, what the hell are your guys doing?? Buat kerja lah.

If MTB and Satellite building handled 34.088m passengers, then it's time for MAHB to built the second satellite building. This shows that MTB and Satelite only handle less than 25 mil passengers, the rest belongs to Low budget passengers. Please read my original statement. Even Dubai has surpassed us.

@guyKLumpur well, of course Dubai Airport Terminal 3 has surpassed us in Total Capacity of the Airport because it can handle 62 Million passengers compared to KLIA..34 Million or something... but for me, I don't know why, I've been to many airports, but KLIA attracted me the most.. and it was even awarded with Best Airport Immigration Service in the World Airport Awards

@HiragaSaito184 You miss the point I was trying to make. no point winning awards if we are not the hub and not on the main route of the "Big Birds" You know what are the "Big Birds"?. We lack business tourist and yet we wanna be the hub for low cost carrier. KLIA handled +34 mil .. but most of it are LCCT passengers. KLIA MTB and Satellite building can handle max. 25 mil, if more, than that a second satellite building is required to handle the influx, u r smart enough, do the math.

@guyKLumpur I hope you're mistaking my comment before as a challenge.. but yes, I know that KLIA+LCCT = 34 Mil but without LCCT.. KLIA could only handle 25 Mil. or more.. but, even if KLIA is not the "Big Bird's" main route, it is still no.9 in the world (2011).. because the ranking does not only count total capacity, but Services, Facilities and many others are counted too, and I'm not saying that your statement is wrong

BA, Quantas and none of the American Airlines fly into KLIA. I'm saying all this is coz I too want to see KLIA live up to it's image and physical size. We need to get more business tourist, not only the low cost travelers. Why HKIA, CHangi and Incheon manage to stay at TOP 3 in terms of best airport overall, why cant KLIA too ?

@guyKLumpur About KLIA's development, i guess it really depends on the Leader of the country(President or Prime Minister) and also the person who's in charge of the airport's growth, I can't deny that Changi is superb in many aspects, and yes, Malaysia is focusing a lot for the Low Cost Carrier, almost forgetting about the main, International airport.. while in Singapore( I guess? ) keep focusing on it's main & important airport which is Changi

Really cool airport of a really cool city (even although it's 60km away from the KL itself and closer to Jayapura). I loved Malaysia, people were really warm and I'm counting days for going there again this year!

KLIA is an Amazing Hospitable Airport of great quality, just like I have experienced Malaysian Airlines as the best Airliner I ever travelled with amongst many airliners including our Dutch National KLM.

I found Malaysia much easier & hospitabeler than neighbouring Indonesia.

I think you just went to the squat cubicles. there are what u call "regular" cubicles. you just need to find the right one from the row. they normally have both in one restroom. =)

This video is still shown on flights arriving to Kuala Lumpur. I was shown when i flew in on the 27th March 09 from London and it was also shown when i flew back from Hong Kong on the 3rd April 09. I am guessing that as long as there is TV on board the aircraft that u are on then this video should be shown.
