In what country does this movie take place? I'm assuming these people have never heard of a gurney and have never been trained on how to properly stabilize and transport an immobilized patient.

Opiate OD means there will probably be vomiting, despite the patient being unconscious. Which means he should be on his side for the ambulance ride, to avoid aspirating his own emesis.

The drugs he took were actually less likely to cause him physical harm than the shoddy emergency care. LOL.

This is awesome. I love it. The Killers song is even better than the original music used in the film. The only thing I would change is have the music cut off when he gets the injection and wakes up. But I suppose you can't do that when you're using Windows Movie Maker.

No, they made a fake arm and Ewan injected into that. But in the scene where is at the hospital getting the HIV-check, he was injected for real. It's all on the extra material of the "definitive, uncut filmmaker's version" DVD :-)
