Awful lot of balding pot smokers at this fund raiser...I think that says something about the effects of marijuana on a guy.

A fund raiser to legalize responsible drug use serving beer and alcohol...real smart guys...prove pot is just like a beer by serving beer instead of pot...all of you are either irresponsible or deviate in your life style...real thinkers don't need drugs or alcohol to live a life.

in the broader realm -absolutely you should be thrown in jail for doing drugs. Illegal drugs negatively effect others as criminals use terror to get you your fix. Addicts negatively effect society through theft and public defecation. Addicts are a menace. However, if you stay off drugs- until legalized - then do them without becoming an addict - you are free to discover what so many of us already know...drugs like alcohol are a crutch for people who don't have the courage to be themselves

That is such a failure at logic. So if something its illegal we shouldn't do it? Well thank god African American people didn't exercise their rights because that supports the destruction of the status quo in society negatively impacts us. Sry for the two part comment. I know some person will reply with some comment about how well if i burn down my house or don't pay my bills I hurt people. News flash you cant legislate morals. What i find reprehensible is people like you don't mind the fact you are giving the govt a license to dictate lives and what you do en mass. I jumped in after reading that drug users don't have the courage to be themselves, has it ever occurred that some people are "themselves" when high? for instance, when not high, I'm an asshole, I say random shit that has no relevance to anything, I suffer from mental anguish that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. now, when I am high, I can think clearly, I can actually feel like a normal human being, I'm a productive member of society. are you suggesting I go to jail for being a better person?

Odom- you missed my point....IF WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE my argument is that you have a real medical condition that marijuana helps and like cancer victims or bulimics you need this plant. However, misuse is the stigma that keeps you from receiving this drug without jail time. I suggested all casual pot smokers give up their casual use of pot to help out those who actually need it. They insist it is not addictive nor dangerous- yet they refuse to help a brother out because they can't stop....
