Magus, truly, you should not review Eva at all, it is a work meant to be interpreted. If you keep on reviewing, please add a disclaimer stating this is your interpretation and not neccesarily the only way or right way to look at it.

Its not about interpretation, I gave the film a mediocre review because it was mediocre. THe movie was redundant and repetitive, and did nto need to be. It was not about the interpretation of the story, it was about the technical problems of the film....god you eva fans like to use interpretation as an excuse..sad...

Actually I felt the film was a sort of disappointment...I donot like it when scenes are exactly the same...When you retell a story the essence the characters are there, but there shold be some difference between the original. But this is not a true remake, its a retelling of the Eva Story, sort of like the way that Akira the film is a different version of the Akira Manga...same concept...Rebuild is not a remake but a retelling, hence why I had some issues with it.

I was quite disappointed from the stroyline especially at the end, but I hope this (2nd) "remake" has fixed the weaknesses of the older TV series.

I was very unpleased when ive seen the end of End of Evangelion, though it seems that Rei looks right into Shinjis heart and decided by what she saw in his deepest feelings (he tries to kill asuka in his thoughts) so she transformed all humans except from shinji and asuka into LCL...well..THIS CANT BE A PROPER END oO!!!

you know, I am kinda curious to see how this will turn out. the animation is up to current standards and if the retelling with a few variations are any indication, the ending will be less to do with introspective...which may end up causing the series to not be so...powerful. I found the psychological study of the chars to be very intresting.

They're will be differences for one a new character will be introduced, karou the last angel makes and, eariler appearence than he does in the orgianl and, actually partipates in a battle with another angel. And lastly the fourth movie will be a completly different ending to evangelion know remaking the last 2 episodes or end of evangelion.
