  • What a woman! What a brilliant artist!

Work it out as to why this beaut was eliminated from the music industry.....

  • Great singer!

  • this should have got a lot more air play than power of love .... amazing song.... where is she now...

  • the voice is just greeeeat

  • She looks partly Oriental.

  • Sexy eyes

  • her voice..... so wonderful she's a great singer,

  • Vypalovačka.

  • one of the best voices in the 80's..my fav song ever is power of love..a few have sang it but not like Jennifer Rush..she has and always be my fav power of love singer..brings back alot of memories back in the 80's..love those years

  • A classic 80s song. Very nice! Also Jennys latest album NOW IS THE HOUR contains great songs. ECHOES LOVE and JUST THIS WAY for example. Join Jennifer on facebook at JENNIFER RUSH & MUSIC BLOG. Latest news, fotos, interviews are there. Enjoy!

  • my god id forgotten she had done this glad i found it absolutely brilliant she is a genuine talent with a amazing voice

  • I like her pyjamas.

  • I got turned on to Jennifer Rush in the 1980's while stationed in Germany during my time in the Army and I have NEVER understood why she never got more famous stateside. I have been a fan ever since then. If I was a programmer at a radio station that featured 80's music, Jennifer Rush would get heavy airplay. I love you, Jennifer!

  • Unstoppable voice. Long live the 80s!

  • I will NEVER understand why she never made in the US when she had the entire Europe at her feet!

I love HER "power of love much more than Celine's. And I do like Celine.

  • One of the best songs and artists ever....a unique voice...

  • que voz más bonita y potente

  • Not much of a looker but man What a voice?? Very powerful and amazing.

  • @ramy3308 Buddy'I'm 46.When i was 20,which is about right about the time of this video,she was hot.Her lips are.....well.......use your imagination......

  • funny how an artist can make two songs which are hated and loved by the same person, i never liked ''the power of love'' but this tune was always one of my fave love/rock songs ever.

  • one of the best songs she made

  • Her voice is really fantastic, and in this song she really makes use of it

The song is still great, her voice is too, but the video uhm, is old :)

  • I miss the '80s...

  • fuckin brilliant..

  • Back in time to a be a child again.

  • big hit in ireland

  • This was a big hit in South Africa, and was always my favourite JR song.

  • Best voice of the 80s.

  • Una dintre vocile proeminente din muzica pop a anilor '80!

  • i love her voice its really difrent

  • Jennifer is live now in romanian tv studio OTV..SUPER!!!

  • I love this song.

  • Because it has to atleast hit the top ten to be classed as a hit where the description "one hit wonder" is concerned.

The album this is off was my first even CD purchase. God that was so long ago.

  • I don't know why 'The Power of Love' is sometimes classed as a U.K one hit wonder, when this song was equally a hit, reaching No.14, in early 1986.

  • she is awesome

  • yes she is.I love this song

  • bellísima canción y una maravillosa voz de la joven y bella Jenny

  • The best...

  • Love this song.

  • Classy, wish she was my girlfriend.

  • @svenswart i was thinking exactly that imagine taking her out on a saturday night, fantastical pete christchurch new zealand

  • @80ssounds I pity the fool who has Lady Gaga as a girlfriend!

  • @svenswart you mean lady gag gag

  • @80ssounds Unfortunately, Gaga is no "lady". So let's come up with a list for 80's pop artists we'd like as girlfriends. I vote for Jennifer Rush, Laura Branigan (RIP), wish she was still alive, Spagna, Sandra Cretu and Taylor Dane. Your turn.

  • @svenswart I had a MASSIVE crush on Jane Wiedlin (Rush Hour)... also loved Kim Wilde, Vicki Peterson of The Bangles, and Anna Maria of The Mobiles (as she had that Siouxsie Sioux thing going). But my all-time idea of perfection is Kate Bush.

  • This is about as eighties as you can get!

  • This is a great song. Love it and the video is good too, its weird how it no longer looks that old as alot of music videos today are copying that 80s style.

  • @kcirish Couldn´t agree with you more!

  • Der Hit 1984. Wurde in Deutschland in jeder Disco rauf und runter gespielt. Super song.

  • Another of Jennifer's great Songs....Jenny is a talent that has never ever received the appreciation that her immense talent warrants....One of the great Pop Voices ever...Bob, Palm Springs, Ca. USA

  • @Clof1959

Oh I SO agree with you! I always thought she was real 'class' - had a unique and instantly recognisable voice (unlike all those that all sound the same) a really 'cool' looking singer and can entertain just by singing without having to have loads of 'gimmicky' over-the-top videos.

    SUPER!

  • @Clof1959 Yes, I agree with you Bob. Foreign artists NEVER receive the appreciation they deserve in the U.S.!!

  • @ScooterYamaha ~The Sad part is Jennifer was born in New York City & didn't move to Europe from America until after her Daughter, Ariel, was born in 1993...

Another great American Singer that was hardly noticed in her own Country was Eva Cassidy...

It was 4 years after her passing in 1996 @ the age of 31 that a Radio DJ in London played her Version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" that she finally began getting from "Europe NOT America" the recognitiion she deserved as a Singer & Artist..

  • @Clof1959 The same thing happened to Scatman John in 1994-1995. His song "Scatman" was a world wide hit except in his native country. He was from Studio City, CA but never received any air-play. He was nominated for the best new artist award in Europe. Blondie, had to start in Europe first, because she wasn't getting any air-play in the U.S as well. Most recently, A band from Seattle, WA had a world wide hit with their song "Heavy Cross", but no air-play for them here.

  • @Clof1959

yeah, I never heard of her until someone sang a cover of one of her songs on the x-factor. So I discovered another great eighties artist! :)

  • cool song i like it ;D

  • @Clof1959 Couldn't agree more! Well stated Bob!
