@Oliveiravitor1980 Yeah I am serious. Mick's moves are terrible compared to Axl's fluent dancing, and considering Mick has had the 60's, the 70's and most of the 80's to establish his stage craft, and Axl's just in his twenties, he does really well. And Axl's not intimidated by the legend that is Jagger not one bit. Guess we'll beg to differ my friend. Thanks for the reply though... Oh, and at least Axl has the range to hold the last note
@onepinkrose I was at this show. This was an encore song. Mick had been on stage for about 2 hours at this point, dancing through every song. Axl came out from backstage, fresh as a daisy. I'm not taking anything away from Axl Rose - he's a great entertainer, but I don't think it's quite fair to compare the 2 at this point in the show. If you get to see Axl Rose on the current tour, check him out after 2 hours on stage and compare him to himself in this video.
@1995hoo Where? In November of 1990 they played the Sky Dome in Toronto which was supposed to be the final show of their tour. Then they played one more...
@MrGrubbymart I'm not following your query. Do you mean where was this concert aired live on pay-per-view TV? I was 16 years old at the time and was living in Fairfax, Virginia, and I convinced my parents to let me order the concert so I could record it. I transferred it from VHS to DVD a couple of weeks ago as I type this out of concern that the 20+ year-old VHS tape might deteriorate, even though I don't watch it all that often. The PPV broadcast wasn't limited to the DC area, though.
@thezidman axl has been playing 3 hour shows since 1991, Jagger is great and divine but axl is such a hard singer to compare too since he has such a wide variety of ways to sing, hes got a multi toned voice. though now his voice is kinda shot hopefully not wed, gonna see him at the forum!
The story goes that when the stones invited Axl and Izzy to sing a song of their choice. Mick Jagger didn't remember the song when they chose 'Salt of the Earth'. So they had to re-learn it backstage before the concert.
@Skillz1615 So what? Guns could never remember how to play their tunes either! and they just wrote them! Great rendition of the song though. You read Axl's lips saying "thank you" to The Stones for THE PRIVILEGE of sharing the same stage. Nice gesture.
@andy65guitar so what nothing, I'm just telling the story. What's wrong with you? Save the confrontational attitude for the little skinny kid in the playground. At least he'll take it
@Skillz1615 Hey man,no offense There are a whole bunch of things probably wrong with me but that's another jar of cookies! I thought it was a pretty positive comment.! I forget lyrics all the time. No big deal. No reason to come outta the bag!

Keith Richards: 'Let's drink to the hard working people Let's drink of the lowly of birth'
Mick Jagger: 'Raise your glass to the good and the evil Let's drink to the salt of the earth'
Axl Rose: 'Say a prayer for the common foot soldier Spare a thought for his back breaking work' It cannot get ANY better :)
