Plus, they're not related to any of the other European languages, so you can't even make comparisons. And damn it, Finland makes such awesome rock! --both Finnish artists it does NOT mean they are influenced by one another..it may POSSIBLY be that music from certain countries tends to have a same type of "sound" to them, like Abba and Roxette might be heard as having the same type of sound because they are from Sweden, whatever..Still, Jonsu (the lead singer from INDICA) will HARDLY have gotten any influences from mr."asshole" holopainen, because they started off around the same time, without any connection 2 one another.

Actually Indica has warmed up for Nightwish. And Holopainen apparrently produced the "Valoissa" album and to my knowledge is currently their producer. So apparrently there is a connection.

@DataEntity Well, we could start by the fact that in Nightwish's albums Tarja's voice sounds mixed (and as far as I know, Holopainen is the head of the band). Then he kicked out Tarja and hired some pixie-voiced girl, who might could sing pop or maybe even rock but not metal, and so one of my favourite bands was dead to me.

And then Indica's A Way Away came, and the lyrics didn't sound the same and Jonsu's voice was mixed and another favourite band was dead to me.
