This really hits close to home. I have a mentally handicapped sister that I take care of and I have to agree with you Tommie, I do not want anyone else doing it.I know how stressful it is and I get aggravated, so I do not want someone that does not love her like I do to take care of her.I honesty applaud you for all that you do. May God truly bless you.
Hmmm, very moving...lovely to see your care & devotion.. I too have "walked this route" & I also know that at times "if you didn't laugh...you would cry"
Tommie my friend, a 100 million dollar movie could not capture the situation any better!!!!! Gods Best to you Donna and all your family! Thanks yet again for being one of my inspirational goal post! Love you guys!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. "T" "T"
A beautiful testimony of sacrifice, true love & compassion challenging all who love & honor our parents to step up to the plate & be responsible. Your story was so heartfelt & real Your dedication & love for your mom will be rewarded. What a blessing you are! Thanks for sharing such a trying yet tender part of your life with us. You're known for Chasing Miracles & now you'll be known for living Through a Miracle. Thanks for the inspiration & keep singing with your mom it was beautiful-Jen
OMG Tommie I found that very emotional, as my Mum had Alzheimers for 5 years before her death. Prior to this horrendously cruel affliction she spent the first 2 hours a day doing crossword puzzles, walked regularly, enjoyed lawn bowls three days a week and took nutritionals. It makes one feel guilty when our loved ones are stripped of their independence and quality of life.
Tommie, thank you for sharing your private life. God bless you
"Awesome!! Makes me appreciate the insanity I go through with Greg's aunt, as she is not as far along with the disease as Tommie's Mom is. If I get like that, call Dr. Kevorkian!! God Bless Tommie!
So warm, tender, heartwarming and compassionate, Tommie. My hat is off to you and God smiles down on you for the honor and care you give to your mother - something you will NEVER regret, and if everyday is like this day depicted, something you never tire of doing. God Bless you, my friend
Wow what a great video. I laughed and I cried. Tommie your story is so amazing, emotional, and compelling. Thank you for sharing. You have touched our lives like no one else can as well as others.
