As a bass player, let me say up front that Dusty Hill is one of the most under rated bassists out there. Sure, he's not a riffer and has a fairly simple style, but his rythm is spot on and just damn cool. And any gigging bassist will testify that if you play bass in a three piece combo, you are doing double duty. You're doing the bass line and covering for the lack of a rythm guitar player. The man is great and one of my favorites!

@MrCueball961 old school uber cool yes - Dusty lays down the road for his guitar player, hanging back, and seemingly hoping back onto the beat when appropriate, but he is holding a concrete line between the two guitars, and I suspect Gibbons can trust what is coming like his own mother so they can improvise and 'play music' which is so rare it is sad. A dedicated 'bass player' is a rare breed, too many egos and shit.
