ca18dets theoritical can handle max ~350hp on the flywheel-only in very good condition engines-with stock internals anything more is too risky.with forged conrods u can go ~400hp on the fly imo.of course the biggest "insurance" in reliability in any engine is the programme of the ecu.but thats my opinion...cheers
so these turbos bolt up to factory manifold or wud i have to make a custom one. wot flange is on it. i was jst unda 200kw by bout 5kw on a t28 turbo but its setup to handle bigger.
My car was having wastegate issues i was using a dodgy ebay 50mm wastegate and it wouldnt make boost till redline due to leaking but its all fixed now, i now have a new fully built ca18 and new gate
Yes. Stock buttom can handel upto 260Kws before melting pistons. We can make your stock CA to run 250kws no worries. That turbo's rated at 500HP, cost $850AUD
SRs would make more power with less boost. We've made 235kws with 14PSI. For more details you can goto driftjunkies website for our sponsored race cars.
it isnt silvia!

would also like to know this.
How much would it cost to get a 220rwkw safely from a stock ca18det?
NINETWENTYEIGHT 4 years ago
that spends a fukking long time in gear, seems quite slow acceleration
or was it not being pushed

Well thats what CAs are like in general. Watch this one: BklqlcY5lqA
Thats another 250KWs CA that we build.
