For many many years I've heard/read that Rubber Soul was the Beatles "pot" album and Revolver was their "acid" album. Could be. Rubber Soul was a definite departure for the Fab Four, as their minds were expanding (by whatever means) and they and their music were growing up!

You gotta love the Rubber Soul album cover and how it captures the changing perceptions and perspectives of the Beatles themselves. Time should be adjusted from B.C. (Before Christ) to B.B. and A.B. (Before Beatles and After Beatles). I wonder what Lennon would think of that controversial statement? Peace.
