What do I put in the 'Server' field ... i mean the server name of course but what exactly is that? can you give an example? I have a shared hosting account, will I be able to access my database thru there or do I need a dedicated IP address?

very helpful, thank you. I tried it with 2003. it's perfect. helped me set up mysql odbc connection for msaccess too. thanks a lot
