It was really amazing to see how it would be to fly at Mach 20 and Mach 500!! Not that we will fly at Mach-500 any time soon but that was the closest we could have gotten to it!! That was amazing and i liked that part!! Thanks.
You should write an autobiography. Seriously, I've seen many of your videos and I believe "An autobiography of Thunderf00t" would be a really good read. Maybe a bestseller, who knows.
Can I ask what you do for a living? or would that give the rodents to much info into your personal life? looks like your doing something in way of making life better for everyone, even those who bash you.
there will be a time in the somewhat near future that we will have aircraft that can travel the atlantic in 20 seconds. By this time we will have also colonised jupiter's moons being that it would be like a half hour trip away.
Music, Pachelbel's Canon or Canon in D, original made piece was made by the composor Johann Pachabell. great pick of music and a wonderful video, I love timelapses :)
As a professional pilot, I've seen a full-circle rainbow many times as I look past my wingtip. I never get tired if seeing the cloud formations, they're so beautiful.
The amount of things that can happen in such a small space in our world over the course of one or two days is just incredible. Why do we ignore this so much? The world is superbly beautiful.
That's not a rainbow... you need a wide angle lens to photograph a complete circle of a rainbow because the bands of colour appear between 40 and 42 degrees from the antisolar point on the celestial sphere, so you need an angle of view of at least 84 degrees. What you saw is possibly a glory.
it really moved me when the clouds started to form on the mountains, id heard about that many times but it's the first time i see it actually happening, it was just amazing, the whole video was amazing.
nephilimfree, this is what science actually is, going out into the world and actually experimenting, not sitting in your basement bitching about articles found on creation.com
To put things in perspective, mach 500 is right around 350,000 mph. That seems pretty fast until you note that it is ony .00583% the speed of light. To me, that is pretty god damned amazing!
So that's how it would look on board of a craft that could fly at Mach 70 / Mach 400.... Can't wait for that technology to be releas... uh... to be developed. Nice vid, as usual.
Every time I fly somewhere, I'm filled with the revelation that here we have a couple busloads of people being lifted by unabridged science. 1 MW output per engine lifts a mess of people into the air and flings them unballistically from point A to distant point B. It's something that the human race even just 100 years ago never did, nor could do.
We live in the future, and the future lives with us. Some choose to reject this idea, but I embrace it with everything I have.
@Fordi Even with all that we have today, we are probably far closer to the stone age, than we are to the peak of technological progress. As far as we have come, we still have much much further to go, but thats just how I think. Most people look towards the near future, but I usually look well beyond that. I imagine an era, in which our present society, will be looked at as simple, primitive, savage and unenlightened.
I embrace the future and beyond, I just hope we make it that far!!
@Fordi As am I, but I usually take my mind about ten steps beyond that. I guess you could call me a dreamer, but theres nothing wrong with that, all of our greatest minds are. What else I see, are the problems in the world and how technology and science, could be the solution to them. Do you know how many superior technologies have been developed, that we never get to see? We need this new tech now, we cant afford to be held back any longer, by foolish economic and religious propaganda.
@SondreSnurr You can! I'll bet the next time you see daisies, rainbows or clouds you might find you'll notice something a little extra about them! If thats not high on life then I don' t know what is :)
I love science so much....dislike religion so much! Awesome video!

But even though it was daytime, you cant see it. It was cloud covered, but such a bright glare everyone on the plane shut their windows.
I fly a lot in clouds, and assumed it was cause being so far north, the sun was at a weird angle, but I guess it was ice clouds.
Wish I could have saw greenland.
