  • I love science so much....dislike religion so much! Awesome video!

  • What a video

  • Does anyone know what this guy does for a living? He is obviously insanely intelligent and I'm very interested in his channel.

  • @Cornbreadddd I think he's a mad scientist.

  • @Cornbreadddd He teaches at a university I cannot remember which one right now though lol

  • good work lad

    :)

  • i said the quickest vid ever this goes 4 3minutes u dumb asshole

  • I did not know there was a techno version of Cannon. I like it. Awesome video as well.

  • 2:13

I wish airplanes really flew this fast!

  • beautiful video! this inspires me to become a scientist! you have one more sub :)

  • 747-400 is the aircraft I presume?

  • I know this is based on a classical piece of music, but I can't quite place it. Help?=)

  • @Remman Pachelbel's Canon

  • @TheReaverOfDarkness Thank you, to the max!;D

  • @Remman if you want the version Tf00t used, look up the uplifting remix by M'A'T'i'A'S (Matias Holmberg)

  • @TheReaverOfDarkness Thanks, är du också svensk för övrigt?:S

  • @Remman Jag kan tala svenska med Google translate

  • @TheReaverOfDarkness hehe ok, I just thought that the name "matias holmberg" sounded swedish=)

  • @Remman probably is, it's not my name, however.

  • @TheReaverOfDarkness Klart du kan! :D

  • @GoRodix87 hihi! ^^

  • what do you dooooo?????

  • So you held a camera out the window for 10 hours??

  • @redshark618 The camera is pretty much stationary so he must have attached the camera onto something close the window... just a guess

  • Epic. Digging the music too

  • Great video!

  • what a beautiful video

  • Great video. What was the experiment you were working on?

  • imagin what the ppl below are like: its a bird, its a plane, its superm...no its a fuckin plane.

  • I'm probably just repeating myself but thank you for taking the time to make that. I thought it was amazing.

  • Amazing

  • what is the name of this song?!?! :)

  • @OMGCATZZPWN

Pachelbel's Canon, also known as Canon in D major

I don't know ho did this version. But it's nice!

  • @etonks It's the "Uplifting Trance remix" version by Matias Holmberg :)

  • @fr0ber I like IT!!

I wonder if Johann Pachelbel would like it. I'd like to think he would. :)

  • @OMGCATZZPWN Read the video description!

  • MACH 500? WHY THAT'S THE SPEED AT WHICH THE WATER WAS TRAVELLING WHEN THE GRAND CANYON WAS CREATED!!!

  • @ADMERALSMITH I thought that was mach50

  • if only planes traveled that fast :/

  • I once saw a 360 rainbow in the wee hours of the morning while on a forced march in the rain. the light was from the headlights of a truck, so maybe it doesn't count. Still,...

  • When I grow up, I want to be a Thunderf00t.

  • @Mrmoc7 NO WAY! ME TOO! :D I thought I was the only one...

  • It was really amazing to see how it would be to fly at Mach 20 and Mach 500!! Not that we will fly at Mach-500 any time soon but that was the closest we could have gotten to it!! That was amazing and i liked that part!! Thanks.

  • That was a brilliant video.

  • I remember flying in to Florida as a thunderstorm was breaking and I saw a 360 degree rainbow below the plane as we were landing.

    Truly wonderful thing to see.

  • I LOVE this one :) Watched it twice, thanks for posting! ~PG~

  • @PaganGlade I like it more than you do, Ive watched it 3 times.

  • @dhimmiwit :) :) :)

  • @PaganGlade I just watched it again in case you had another sneaky viewing, You cannot win.

    Me-hu-akbar!

  • @dhimmiwit HA HA HA You funny onion :D Happy viewing! :D

  • @PaganGlade Are you a witch? I used to go out with a witch.

  • @dhimmiwit yeah i am.

  • I have been entertained. TY TF.

  • beautyfull

  • Neat vidya, TF :)

  • ....and it was STILL raining here in the UK...

  • mach 500!! 627500kmph impressive thunderf00t, took me 6 hours to fly from Ireland to USA

  • 2:38 i can see my house.

  • You should write an autobiography. Seriously, I've seen many of your videos and I believe "An autobiography of Thunderf00t" would be a really good read. Maybe a bestseller, who knows.

  • I love how all the responses to this vid, have nothing to do with this vid. Lol, at least comment on the nice photography and time laps guys.

Thanks TF good stuff, interesting to see you at work! What kinda jet you in?

  • Pachelbel remixed: Very nice.

  • What airline is this? My flight took at least 7 hours!

  • Thanks dude! Excellent video, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • You look like my nephew! He's a post-doc theoretical physicist and a big guy with facial hair and a pony-tail. :)

  • i don't know why but this music gives me some sort of hope for humanity.

  • I loled at the warp speed.

Having made the trip from Japan to the states about 7 times, I really could have used it.

  • what track is this??

  • Cool vid, TFoot!

Can I ask what you do for a living? or would that give the rodents to much info into your personal life? looks like your doing something in way of making life better for everyone, even those who bash you.

    Thank you.

  • i didnt see no rainbow

  • Pretty cool, thunderf00t!

  • BTW be careful with that Atomium footage, because the owners are assholes who want everyone to pay for pictures or video of it.

  • Cool video!

  • hey thunderf00t. whats you profession? are u a chemical engineer or something? I'm curious.

  • what was the experiment and what was the result?

  • Canon

  • whoo my house at 2:40 lol not really but i do live in ireland

  • Yeah 5pecular reflection

    Thumbs up for 5specular reflection!

  • You mean to tell us you did not pray during the flight!? =)

  • Wonderful! Just wonderful!

  • there will be a time in the somewhat near future that we will have aircraft that can travel the atlantic in 20 seconds. By this time we will have also colonised jupiter's moons being that it would be like a half hour trip away.

  • That was fucking hot

  • Pachelbel's canon remix. I'm looking for it.

  • @Thunderf00t THAT explains all the UFO sightings! Here I was looking up at the sky and thought WTF ... But it was the Thunderf00t flying over Europe!

  • I love Tf00t, even in spite of the terrible music he puts on his videos.

  • Best video ever.

  • Music, Pachelbel's Canon or Canon in D, original made piece was made by the composor Johann Pachabell. great pick of music and a wonderful video, I love timelapses :)

  • what an xlnt pachelbel canon!

  • So, what, you fly to Europe, run an experiment, and then go home? What DO you do? And how do I apply?

  • @nothingUnrealExists I would imagine become a research - science prof/engineer of some sort .

learn lots, write a letter and ask :)

  • @nothingUnrealExists I think he is a professor.

  • Very awesome. I loved this video. :D

  • The Double rainbow guy was like

" WHOA! Rainbow all the way around the sky! whoooaaaaahohoho my god!"

  • WHAT DOES IT MEEEEEEAAAAN?!?!

  • As a professional pilot, I've seen a full-circle rainbow many times as I look past my wingtip. I never get tired if seeing the cloud formations, they're so beautiful.

  • Amazing video. Thanks thnderf00t for sparing ur time to do it and sharing

  • lol like 1000 daisies pop out????

  • wow that looks sao tedius

  • Wow, when we have aircraft capable of Mach500 I shall be visiting the US a lot more. And everywhere else in the world.

  • 2:45

Captain: "Attention all passengers, get back to your seats and buckle your fucking seat belts. *click click click* YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAA!"

  • wonder what the experiment was?

  • Fantastical video! Please make more!

  • Well done.

    Great Video.

Special Thanks for adding Pachelbel's Canon.

  • It's weird to think that you were flying directly over my home as I was sat here, unaware that 30,000 ft above me Thunderf00t was filming.

  • Say, what was the project you were working on that had you using a micropipette and such a precise scale?

  • The amount of things that can happen in such a small space in our world over the course of one or two days is just incredible. Why do we ignore this so much? The world is superbly beautiful.

  • I wonder if I speed this video up 2X, will that be the fastest video on youtube ever?

  • Comment removed

  • wow, the masses of land seem smaller than what i thought... what a pathetically small world we live in eh

  • The flowers opening is so beautiful

  • I mean really, how miserable do you have to be to dislike this video?

  • That's not a rainbow... you need a wide angle lens to photograph a complete circle of a rainbow because the bands of colour appear between 40 and 42 degrees from the antisolar point on the celestial sphere, so you need an angle of view of at least 84 degrees. What you saw is possibly a glory.

  • You have entirely too much fun with your videos, lol.

  • it really moved me when the clouds started to form on the mountains, id heard about that many times but it's the first time i see it actually happening, it was just amazing, the whole video was amazing.

  • i luuuv trance and techno and the tripped look amazing <3

  • Lol I like the clothing changes to make it look like it was longer. But anyways it was a nice video with cool music!

  • Hey you must have had a layover in my town! Where did you go exactly?

  • Dear thunderf00t, why are you so fucking awesome?

  • Thanks for taking us with you.

  • Where were your gloves you dirty bird!

  • What were you doing in the science blender? Rest of the video I didn't care about.

  • @Kiwirnango - that's a weighing scales lol

  • This is the classic thunderf00t: Great videos with great music. Keep them coming!

  • I love flying

    One of mankinds greatest achievements

  • nephilimfree, this is what science actually is, going out into the world and actually experimenting, not sitting in your basement bitching about articles found on creation.com

  • Nice!

  • What is the song? please answer

  • @coolz987 It is an interesting remix of Pachelbel's Canon in D, an old classic. I don't know where he got this particular version but I love it.

  • @coolz987 its a remix of pachebel's canon, this guy made 2 versions of it one with more bass than the other link is here watch?v=-3UPSpj760M

  • It's over 9000!!!

    (617400 km/h)

  • and who says science isn't fun?!

    awesome stuff!

  • is thunderf00t a scientist?

  • i love the fast forward flight really cool seeing you go across the world in 20 seconds

  • great vid, keep it up, now I have a reason to re-sub back to your channel

  • To put things in perspective, mach 500 is right around 350,000 mph. That seems pretty fast until you note that it is ony .00583% the speed of light. To me, that is pretty god damned amazing!

  • what exactly were you doing? are you a biologist? chemist?

  • @chiroptera9 I think he may be an awesomist.

  • techno cannon interesting

  • Awesome!

  • Ireland!

  • cure4atheism has hit the dislike button 48 times

  • Cool.

  • So that's how it would look on board of a craft that could fly at Mach 70 / Mach 400.... Can't wait for that technology to be releas... uh... to be developed. Nice vid, as usual.

  • Every time I fly somewhere, I'm filled with the revelation that here we have a couple busloads of people being lifted by unabridged science. 1 MW output per engine lifts a mess of people into the air and flings them unballistically from point A to distant point B. It's something that the human race even just 100 years ago never did, nor could do.

We live in the future, and the future lives with us. Some choose to reject this idea, but I embrace it with everything I have.

  • @Fordi Even with all that we have today, we are probably far closer to the stone age, than we are to the peak of technological progress. As far as we have come, we still have much much further to go, but thats just how I think. Most people look towards the near future, but I usually look well beyond that. I imagine an era, in which our present society, will be looked at as simple, primitive, savage and unenlightened.

I embrace the future and beyond, I just hope we make it that far!!

  • @DeathBYDesign666

I'm way more interested in the next step, the immediate future. That's the part I can help along, at the very least.

  • @Fordi As am I, but I usually take my mind about ten steps beyond that. I guess you could call me a dreamer, but theres nothing wrong with that, all of our greatest minds are. What else I see, are the problems in the world and how technology and science, could be the solution to them. Do you know how many superior technologies have been developed, that we never get to see? We need this new tech now, we cant afford to be held back any longer, by foolish economic and religious propaganda.

  • @Fordi well put walt disney

  • @Fordi You, fellow YouTuber, are a tribute to appreciation of Science, and all it's wonders. Thank you for your enlightening comment.

  • Jet Lag in 3 minutes 17 seconds. It's all such a blur.

  • @mmeasy123 Pachelbel Canon.

  • And I HAVE TO live here. Horrible, isn't it? ;)

  • Great video, but I can't handle the Canon in D Megamix. (Search "Pachelbel Rant" to understand what I'm getting at here.)

  • I think the 360 degree rainbow cast around the airplane is call a "glory"

  • very awesome!

  • So Thunderfoot. Do you like it better here or in the UK?

  • Pachelbel canon in D arrangement. Awesome.

  • Those daisies were awesome.

  • I really wish I could be "high on life" like you are.

  • @SondreSnurr You can! I'll bet the next time you see daisies, rainbows or clouds you might find you'll notice something a little extra about them! If thats not high on life then I don' t know what is :)

  • Well done. What campus was that? It's beautiful.

  • That was a truely beautiful video! It was very fun to watch...not only that, but there was Science too!

  • Comment removed

  • @iMoreAsianR pwn atheists?

  • @SmileFIN meant creationists haha

  • cool video ... thanks!

  • This is one of my favorite videos of yours! Thanx for posting!!

  • 360 degree rainbow!!! OH MY GOD!!!! What does it mean?

  • I have absolutly no idea why, I lol'd at daisies.

  • Thunderf00t... WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION!! i see that comment so much i thought of that scene from the movie "300"

but seriously TF, what do you do?

  • THIS is the part of Thunderf00t and the channel that I love.

  • Those cloud shots were amazing.

  • man, I want your plane. obviously, that 20 sec flight would be much preferred to me than the 10 hour one I need to take this summer. =)

  • This video is so pointless it's flawless.

  • Nice, I flew from Vancouver to Amsterdam last year, right over Greenland.

But even though it was daytime, you cant see it. It was cloud covered, but such a bright glare everyone on the plane shut their windows.

I fly a lot in clouds, and assumed it was cause being so far north, the sun was at a weird angle, but I guess it was ice clouds.

Wish I could have saw greenland.

  • Dude, that totally brought a smile to my face :-)
