to everyone talking about Bill 101 and such, just remember, the Italian immigrants and their children in Quebec have found a way to get around all that ridiculousness and I'm sure other groups have too by forging their own neighbourhoods within that crazy province. I'm glad other populations of Euorpeans went there to fight for Canada and have keep separatism at bay if not extinct. Enjoy your precious language Bills, frankly they don't work.
@sicilianotoronto I believe that the British after conquering New France from France should have deported the defeated French Canadian people like how they did to the French Acadian people in the 1750's, had they done this then not only the Dominion of Canada would be a much better place, so to would the province of Quebec. There would be no seperatism in Quebec and their would be no tension and disunity and their would certanly not be laws such as Bill 101 and Bill 22.
@MajBlood The British and Anglo Canadians are the ones who transformed the province of Quebec into the industrial heartland of the Dominion of Canada. The Anglo Scot Merchants are the ones who transformed Montreal and Quebec City from glorified trading posts into cities of great wealth and importance which rivaled the likes of New York City, Philadelphia and Boston. I dont have any problems against Quebec, I do have problems with the French Quebecois people who have ruiend Quebec.
@MajBlood The British and Anglo Canadians are also responsible for building some of the greatest landmarks in Quebec City such as the La Citadelle, Chateau Frontenac and the Parliament Building of the province of Quebec. Why would I hate the province of Quebec, as you seem to imply, in fact I love it, it was created by the British in 1763 (Province of Quebec 1763-1791) and in 1867 (Province of Quebec 1867-Present Day). The province of Quebec would be much better if it was much more ENGLISH.
@RoyalistCavalier If Quebec were English it would just be another Ontario. And how can you say that? The French made Quebec what it is. Their French heritage and their modern struggles against the majority make them a proud people with a great culture. And Canada isn't just another US. What defines Canada, is that we are a combination of French and British cultures and values.
@MajBlood You are wrong about saying "If Quebec were English it would be another Ontario". This is BS. The English provinces of Canada are very differant from each other. For example, Ontario is differant from Alberta, British Columbia is differant from Saskatchewan and Manitoba is differant from Newfoundland. In matter of fact Quebec is by history, law and culture, surposed to be a BILLINGUAL province comprised of English and French languages and cultures and not MONOLINGUAL like it is today.
@MajBlood Canada is great today because of BRITISH values and cultures. It was the British Empire that introduced the things that have made Canada a great place to work and live just like it's sisters Australia and New Zealand. The British introduced English Common Law , Constitutiona Monarchy, Free Market Capitalism, Freedom of Speech/Religion/Press, Parliamentary Government, etc. Quebec would be a great place if it were an English provicne or restored to being an English-French province.
@MajBlood I believe that Quebec would be a Canadian version of Louisiana. The province of Quebec could be linguistically ENGLISH and could be culturally FRENCH. This would make the province of Quebec the best province to live in Canada if this were to occure. Canada would not be another United States if it got rid of French in Quebec, just because they speak English does not mean they are the same, it is like saying Argentina and Mexico are the same because they speak Spanish. Which is WRONG.
@RoyalistCavalier Well you can overcome this problem by learning French. I think you would appreciate Quebec and its people more if you read some early Canadian history. And by early I don't mean Wolfe and 1812, I mean Champlain and Frontenac.
@MajBlood Son, the province of Quebec was established to be a BILINGUAL province where both English and French languages and cultures where to be EQUAL. The French Quebecois in my oppion lost their rights when they removed English as an official language of Quebec and made it a 2nd class language and made French sole official language in such laws as Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) and Bill 22 (Official Language Act). I will not learn an oppressive and a looser language as French.
@MajBlood The provinces of Alberta and Manitoba are monolingual English you are right, but they are very differant culturally. The province of Alberta is conservative and has a western cowboy culture. The province of Manitoba is more liberal and has a more of an artistic and layed back culture. Both the province of Alberta and Manitoba have differant histories, economies and outlooks of life. Oh and so what if Quebec becomes another Ontario, Ontario is the richest and powerull province in Canada
@RoyalistCavalier Also, according to Wikipedia, Chateau Frontenac was built by an American, and not a Canadian. I also notice your profile says you're from the United States. What's up with that?
@MajBlood The Chateau Frontenac was designed and built by an American, you are right, but the Chateau Frontenac was paid for by Canadian Pacific Hotels. Canadian Pacific Hotels (Fairmont Hotels) was an ANGLO CANADIAN company. It was Anglo Canadian money that went to buld this hotel. The British were the ones who built the La Citadelle and Quebec Parliament Buildings and not the ungratefull French Quebecois who currently sit in the Quebec Parliament Buildings.
@MajBlood The French Canadian people should be thankfull that the British gave them the Quebec Act (1774) enshuring their rights to speak French, attend the Catholic Church and to observe French Civil Law and the BNA Act (1867) which established English and French as the official languages of Canada and it's province of Quebec. Oh I forgot Quebec belongs to Anglo Canadians and Canada because Great Britain defeated France for it in the French and Indian War (1754-1763). Quebec belongs to Canada.
@RoyalistCavalier Quebec belongs to nobody but the Quebecois. The New France forces were far superior than the English in the Seven Years' War with great victories like Carillon. In fact, the French even took back Quebec City after the Plains of Abraham with the Battle of Sante Foy. They lost because they were betrayed by France.
Additionally, you owe it to the Quebeckers for giving the English somewhere to stay. Most intial anglo-canadians were American loyalists.
@MajBlood No you are WRONG. The province of Quebec belongs to ANGLO-CANADIANS and not QUEBECOIS. The Kingdom of France signed away all French and French Canadian (Quebecois) ownership of New France in the Treaty of Paris (1763) to the Kingdom of Great Britain. This means that Quebec belongs to Canada which is the successor of the British Empire in North America and to the Anglo Canadian people. If Quebecois dont like this they can remove themselves and return to France where they belong.
@MajBlood I dont care if the French won the Battle of Sante Foy, the fact remains is that the British won and the French lost the French and Indian War. France did not waste time in getting rid of New France with it's fur trade which they saw as a drain on the French treasury and which cost France big in money and lives and would rather keep the French West Indies which made France very rich because of it's sugar and coffee trades. Voltaire called New France "A Few Acres Of Snow" of CONTEMPT.
@MajBlood Alsace-Lorraine used to belong to Germany and the German people, however France defeated Germany in the First World War (1914-1918) and at the Versailles Treaty (1919), Germany was forced to surrender Alsace-Lorraine (Birth Place of the German Language BTW) to France. This means that Alsace-Lorraine belongs to France and the French people and no longer belongs to Germany and the German people. The same situation applies to Quebec which belongs to Canada and Anglo Canadians.
@RoyalistCavalier Ok the French did lose the war. But don't make the mistake of thinking it was because were cowardly or weak fighters. The French were superior and knew the woods like noone else.
Secondly, Quebec no longer belongs to Britain and nor does it belong to English Canada. Before confederation, all the colonies had achieved responsible government. Quebec joined confederation by their own choice. They were on their way to independence regardless, and undoubtedly would have become
@MajBlood You are an idiot, Quebec belongs to the Anglo Canadians and they are the successors of the British in North America. The Treaty of Paris (1763) gives full ownership of Quebec to the British Empire and the successors of the British Empire in North America is Canada. No Quebec was not and will never be on their way to independence. I say its time for all the Quebecois traitors to be removed by force if necessary from Quebec and return to France where they belong. Quebec is OURS.
@MajBlood Britain gave French Canadians a choice, they could accept British rule and swear alliegiance to the crown of Great Britain and stay in Canada, if they did not want to accept British rule and not swear alliegiance to the crown of Great Britain they were to be allowed to return to France at British tax payer expence, they decided to stay and accept British rule and swear alliagience to the crown of Great Britain, so Quebecois who dont like this can pack their bags and return to France.
@MajBlood Listen pall, Quebec will never gain independence and if they did Canadian patriots will then attack the Quebecois traitors and will either exterminate them or will chase them into the sea. I swear it if the Quebecois try for independence they will end up juist like the Confederate rebels in the south and that is defeated and destroyed. The blood of Quebecois traitors will flow in the streets and whole towns and cities will be left in ruins and Canadian patirots will not show ANY MERCY.
@RoyalistCavalier continued... become independent if they chose not to join confederation. Just like how all of the lesser colonies in Africa and such achieved independence. And Quebec can leave when she wants. Quebec joined confederation as equal partners and by its own decision.
@MajBlood Listen pall, Quebec had no choice but to join Canada, it did not join the confederation on an equal partners, it is not a partern of Canada but a part of it. Get this retarded shit out of your idiotic head. Quebec is a province of Canada, nothing more and nothing less. Quebec was never a "Nation" and will never be it. The British formed the current Dominion of Canada out of it's North American colonies. I say it is time to put the dam treasonous Quebeocis like you in their place.
@MajBlood French did not take back Quebec city! and the Quebecois were not betrayed by France. The French won early victories because they held the power of the Natives, once the power of the natives was broken however the British marched 17,000 men into the interior and conquered Montreal. France could do nothing to help the Quebecois because of British naval dominance. The battle of Sainte-Foy was inconsequential because Britain had already won several decisive naval victories
@MajBlood Furthermore the French were only good at fighting as skirmishers and ambushing, they could not compete with British infantry in open ground. At Sainte-Foy the British were half starving, outnumbered and had a poor commander. As you see with the British in Europe, during the Seven Years war they were the best infantry in the world, even the French Marshal acknolegded this: "my soldiers do not want to face the English anymore"
@engliscwarrior Um yeah but this isn't Europe. The French all the advantage here because most of the battles were forest skirmisher battles. Montcalm also proved the French to be better at defending and sieges. The French had Quebec back in their hands, they could have captured at Sante Foy but they didn't have enough supplies because of British naval blockade.
@MajBlood Well first of all, the French did not take back Quebec with Sainte-Foy, it was impossible for them to do so. They could not conduct a powerful enough siege, they did not have enough guns or supplies, and the Royal Navy was the dominant across the world's oceans.
@MajBlood Second of all the problem for the British was not the French, it was firstly; the hundreds of miles of inhospitable terrain: mountains, forests, swamps, rivers, rapids, which made traversing their armies, supplies and artillery a logistical impossibility. This made it very easy for the Indians and French to ambush and defeat their tired and over stretched armies and supply lines. It took geniuses like Amherst and Forbes to do it successfully.
@MajBlood The second problem was that the native Indians controlled the balance of power, they sided with the French, which made it impossible for the british to advance. However once their power had been broken from French control it was possible for the British to march on Montreal
@RoyalistCavalier As you say, history is written by the winners. That's why Wolfe is seen by a hero by Englishes and an asshole by Frenches, but it's false to say that that victory was heroic because of the little military forces of New France. I'm not saying Wolfe was some evil character but only that he don't deserve to be called a hero in such circumstances. He did what he had to do and that is all.
@RoyalistCavalier wow...I first thought I could have a sane debate with you dude but apparently you are another chauvinist English Canada produce too much. I'm not going to answer any of your stupidity because I got nothing to prove to you. I'm proud to be québécois and I'd be proud to be Canadian if Canadians like you had enough respect and dignity to recognize me as such. So, if you have nothing interesting to say just stop filling my mailbox. Hope you become more open-minded.
@hazslayer I am not an English chauvinist, it is you Quebecois who are French chauvinist. I do support the Constutiton Act of 1867 which made English and French as official languages of BOTH Canada and it's province of Quebec. English and French languages and cultures were made equal in the province of Quebec, but you people had to ruin the harmoney with your Bill 101 and Bill 22 that made French the sole official language of Quebec and reduced it to a 2nd class language. This is pure OUTRAGE.
@hazslayer French people are the most intollerant when it comes to language. German was banned in Alsace-Lorraine when France recieved the territory from Germany follwing World War 1, now German is close to death in Alsace-Lorraine and it has been Frenchified. Go read France's language laws and you will see you Quebecois are the acorn that does not fall far from the tree. Great Britain did not ban French in Quebec but created laws (Constution Act 1867 and Quebec Act 1774) to protect it.
@hazslayer Canada has been way too tollerant of the Quebecois treatment of the English language and culture in the province of Quebec since 1974 when anti-English facist took over and made Bill 22 (Official Language Act) has destroyed Quebec as an English-French bilingual and bicultural province into a French monolingual and monocultural province that it is today. Canada should have warned the leaders they would expect all out war and martla law if they did this and they would have backed of.
@hazslayer Now if you Quiebecois are not the anti-English bigoted French chauvinst you dont like to be described, then you should replace Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) with Bill 199 (Charter of the French and English Languages). Go read about Bill 199 on the internet and you will see that this bill would restore equalty between English and French Quebecers. No more oppressive anti-English language laws in Quebec and time to turn the clock back before 1974 before this shit occured.
@hazslayer Here is a list of former French colonies that became British colonies in which French was an official language along with English. They are 1)Province of Quebec (1763-1791), 2)Province of Lower Canada (1791-1841), 3)Province of Canada (1841-1867), 4)Dominion of Canada (1867-1931-Present Day), 5)Province of Quebec (1867-1931-1974, English removed by Quebeocis bigots), 6)Saint Lucia, 7)Dominica, 8)Seychelles, 9)Mauritcus.
No French colonies had English as an official language BTW.
@hazslayer Did you know that Canada is the only country in the America's to not have had a civil war. All the countries to the south had civil wars including the United States. It is funny that ALL the republics in the America's went through bloody civil wars, violent communist/socialist revolutions and murderours military coups while the only monarchy in the Americas (Canada) never had any of these things. This proves that monarchies are way better then republics. This was due to British rule.
@hazslayer I have to say it but I believe that the only way for Canada to get rid of it's seperatism in Quebec is to have an American type of civil war in which the nighmare of Quebecois seperatism can be put in it's grave like how Confederate seperatism is dead and buried. There is a time for peace and their is a time for war and the time for peace is comming to an end and the time for war is approaching. Appeasment has not worked and has only emboldend the traitors, what is need is action.
@hazslayer I believe Canada has been to respecting of the Quebecois and have allowed them to get away with discrimintory laws such as Bill 101 and Bill 22 and to have allowed the Anglo Quebecers and their language and culture to be treated as 2nd class citizens by the ungratefull Quebecois people. Canada should have not had 40 years of Neville Chamberlains at the helm and should had Winston Churchills to deal with this bad behavior. You people cant be trused with the civil rights in Quebec.
@sicilianotoronto I believe it is time that Canada should declare Quebec a renagade province and declare martial law and send in the soliders and marines to Quebec to destroy Quebec separatism/nationalism once and for all. When the soilders and marines have full control over Quebec, they can immediatly arrest the leaders of the PQ and jail them and then strip their supporters of their Canadian citizenship and deport them back to France where they belong. No more appeasing these asshole loosers.
@sicilianotoronto You clearly don't understand what is the situation with immigration a bill 101 in Quebec. 1- the neighbourhoods you describe doesn't exist, only minorities decide to live in English. 2- It's really hypocritical to declare bill 101 a stupidity: EVERY country in the world have laws to protect their languages. Just look BC and the whole lot of chinese people who live there. Do you really think there is no law to protect English their? Revise your laws.
@hazslayer Son you dont know what you are talking about. The Constutiton Act of 1867, declared that BOTH English and French are to the official languages of the Dominion of Canada AND it's province of Quebec. Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) and Bill 22 (Official Language Act) illegally and unconstituionaly removed English as an official language of Quebec and theofore has NO right to obeyed and should never have been created. Quebec is a bilingual and bicultural English-French province
@hazslayer You Quebecois are the most ungratefull little shits I have ever heard. Britain gave you the Quebec Act (1763) allowing you the right to speak French, attend the Catholic Church and to obey French Civil Law, and you repaid the British and Anglo Quebecers by creating anti-English language laws such as Bill 101 and Bill 22. When France took over Alsace-Lorraine from Germany, they banned the German language and forced the French language on them.
@hazslayer General James Wolfe is a hero to the British Empire, the Dominion of Canada and YES even to the province of Quebec. I consider General James Wolfe to be an army version of Admire Lord Horatio Nelson. Both of these great military leaders died bravely in battle. General James Wolfe died in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham and Admiral Lord Horoatio Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar. These 2 men are the greatest heroes that Great Britain has everr produced.
@hazslayer I am sick and tired of the ungratefulness of the Quebecois people. These pricks dont realise how great the British and Anglo Canadians treated them. France has literally klled the German language in Alsace-Lorraine and is killing of the Breton language in Brittanny. There is no seperatism or language division in Alsace-Lorraine, so I guest France had the right idea, had the British did this to the Quebecois, then the seperatism and language divsion you see in Quebec today would not be
@hazslayer I say it is time for Canada to stop appeasing the Quebecois people and give them an ultimatium either restore English as an official language of the province of Quebec with the same rights and priviliges as French, abolish all anti-English language laws like Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) and replace them with Bill 199 (Charter of the French and English Languages) and to stop their seperatism crap or they will face the wrath of the Canadian Military and be destroyed.
@bushpig2880 Right you are! My gay grandson agrees! Wolfe was very good at his job, a very young officer taken into the army because his father was an officer. They often took in boys of about 14 or so, and trained them as cadets in their own unit! Or people could buy places for their boys as trainees in the Kings army! Very interesting. Banastre Tarleton was one such young man, as seen renamed Tavington in The Patriot.
@MajBlood It was colonized by the French. It was a French territory. The French lived there for nearly 200 years. That's like someone going into Spain, conquering it and saying that they liberated Spain from the Spanish. Hero of Qc? American reference or not, he was in no ways a hero. He used terror tactics against the local population. In modern terms, he could be viewed as a war criminal, but since the Brits won he is a brilliant commander. A shame really...
@niHonRanDomSnippeR I know that. And you can't really get mad at him for burning a few houses down. Everybody else was doing it and he didn't have much choice in the matter, since Amherst was his commander. And everyone knows Amherst was a mega dick. And the British Empire just saved the good people of Quebec 30 years in advance of the French Revoluton. The upper class French nobleman didn't give a crap about the Canadiens. Louis XV wasn't long saying "fuck 'em" when things got tough in the war.
@MajBlood Indeed, France didn't give a crap about Canadians because otherwise the result of this war would be really different. The reason it sounds really a big shame to me that wolfe is called a "hero" is that he got a big armada and a big army against a few hundreds of civilian canadian. It wasn't war...it was murder. A massive murder cleared in 15 minutes. OK Quebec choose to not capitulate but the Royal Army had the choice to reduce the number of deaths.
@hazslayer Brilliant reply! It was not really a war but a massacre. It wasn't really necessary to kill civilians to achieve victory since they did not resist the British troops, because they were trying to live their lives.Yet Wolfe resorted to terror tactics, which does not make a fine military commander at all. Then again, that's all the Brits ever do. We can't forget what they did to the Zulus and the Boers, nor what they did to the Native Americans in Canada.
@niHonRanDomSnippeR Why dont you stop preaching to the choir about British war crimes against the Zulus and Afriakaners in South Africa and to Native Americans in Canada. How about focus some of your hypocrsiy of what the Japanese did to the indigenous Japanese the Ainu and to which they almost exterminated them and Oh I forget about what the Chinese did to the idigneous Taiwanese the Taiwanese Aborgienes when they they almost wiped them from the face of the Earth. I am sick&tired of this crap.
@hazslayer I woudln't say the situation was that dire for the French. Wolfe only had one cannon at the Plains of Abraham and Montcalm had a decent sized force. If Montcalm waited for his lieutenant, Bougainville to arrive with reinforcements before attacking, Montcalm would have doubtlessly won. And it wasn't like wars today where people fought until unconditional surrender. It is very possible that Quebec could have held out long enough to make it to the peace settlement.
@MajBlood The French did not want New France and were happy to be rid of it. France was givin a choice by Great Britain in the Treaty of Paris (1763) to either keep New France or the French West Indies. France chose to keep the French West Indies and ceaded New France to Great Britan. New France was a drain on the French treasury, but the French West Indies brought wealth to France. Jacques Voltaire once called New France "A Few Acres Of Snow" to show his and France's contempt at it.
@hazslayer History is written by the WINNERS and not the LOOSERS. I dont like that William the Conqueror (A Frenchman) defeated and killed King Harold at the Battle of Hastings (1066), but I accept this happend and I consider William the Conqueror a HERO to Great Britain. France saw New France with it's struggling fur trade as a drain on the treasury, they saw the French West Indies with their thriving sugar and coffee trade which poured money into it as the more valuable colony and kept it.
Lots of people argue that Wolfe wasn't gay. In one biography I read, they had some pretty good evidence that he wanted to marry a lady who wound up with somebody else. After that, he became obsessed with his career. Sorry, just wanted to put that out there. His sexual orientation is still being debated all the time. Good video, though.
@canadarox14 Very interesting. I like your presentation of other research. I think anything is possible for this heroic soldier who was so very ill much of his life. Many people do have trouble creditting gay men with bravery and brilliance.
@brazeau2009 Quebec is too free in my oppion. The Canadian Government and Courts have appeases these bullies for too long. It is time to use the stick because the carrot has failed. The English Language must be restored as an Official Language of Quebec with the same rights as the French Language by all means including WAR. The Quebec Government must install Bill 199 (Charter of the French and English Languages) to restore language equaliity in a set time frame and if they reguse then it is WAR.
@RoyalistCavalier Of course, poor English people, they have been so repressed in Quebec haven't they? 200 years of having all the best jobs, being the heads of factories that French Canadians suffered in, and basically ruling entire country. And as soon as you lose a bit of power.... BAM! It's our fault. I'm glad I'm bilingual and not brainwashed by English supremacist ideals. And by the way, Loi 101 is the best thing to ever happen to Quebec, and if you don't like go move to Ontario! XD
@farcry69460 I guess you are right, since Quebec wants to be French! But they are still part of Canada. Thanks for reminding me. I like Wolfe a lot, a very interesting person in history.
It is necessary to admit that Jales Wolfe, in 17 years is spent the rank of signboard in that of the chief warrant officers-generals, it is to say has which point it was good.
But Quebecois does not love him; a statue to the memory of Wolfe (in Quebec, in the place where he died) was destroyed by a bomb of the Quebec Liberation Front ( FLQ) in 1970 and was afterward reconstructed.
@MalfoyGrandma77 Canada is a french and english country! stupid! Read you history. The english took the name canadian to the french who were called canadien. Canadian is just the english version of the original name
@brazeau2009 If Canada is an English and French country, then Quebec is an English and French province. The Constittuion Act of 1867, established both English and French as the official languages of the Dominion of Canada and it's Province of Quebec. However the Quebecois facists illegally removed English as an Official Language of Quebec in Bill 22 (Official Language Act) and Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language). How come you bloody French Quebecois are so ungratefull to do this
@RoyalistCavalier Becose we are only 8 millions out of 310 000 english speakers in north america. We got a culture and langage to protect we don't to wind up being assimilated like the other french canadian of the ROC. Canada says it's a bilingual country whereas they just speak french. Québec say it's unilingual whereas we speak both langages lol that's ironic
@brazeau2009 The Constittuion Act of 1867, established both English and French as Co-Official Languages of the Dominion of Canada and it's Province of Quebec. The French Language was protected by the Constittuion Act and had nothing to fear with English being a Co-Official Language of Quebec with the same rights and priviliges. Both English and French co-existed as equals in Quebec from 1763-1974 (211 Years) and in those years the French Language did not die out but it THRIVED.
@brazeau2009 I support a Quebec that has both English and French as Official Languages. I want to see the Province of Quebec be like the Province of New Brunswick in where both Languages have the same rights and priviliges. You wont be assimiliated if Quebec is restored to being a bilingual province. Did French Quebecois assimiliate in the 211 years when English was an Official Language of Quebec, NO IT DID NOT. Read the Constittuion Act of 1867 and what it says about language equality.
@brazeau2009 I want to see the day when Quebec is restored to being a 100% bilingual and bicultrual province where both English and French are equal. I believe that Quebec is NOT a French Province but a a French-English Province. Quebec was built by both English and French people and I believe both should be equal. Both English and French Languages and Cultures should be celebrated the same and both should be euqal in Quebec. Stop the Language Facism and restore Language Equality in Quebec.
@brazeau2009 So what that you are only 8 Million Francophones out of a Continent (North America) of about 310 Million Anglophones, that gives you NO RIGHT to remove English as an Official Language of Quebec. This gives you NO RIGHT to establish Anti-English Language Laws like Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) and Bill 22 (Official Language Act). Quebec has to be an English-French bilingual province again and English must be restored as an equal language in Quebec by all means necessary.
@brazeau2009 You French Quebecois are so ungratefull that it makes me sick. The British instead of mass deporting or mass killing the French Canadaian populaiton which they could have done in the 18th Century after the conquest of Quebec did a very progressive and liberal thing and this is that they granted French Canadians Language, Religious and Legal Rights on par with British people and the British people in Quebec were repaid by Bill 101 and Bill 22.
@brazeau2009 You know France did not care about you French Canadians. France had the chance on choosing New France or the French West Indies to keep in the Treaty of Paris (1763). The French chose the French West Indies and ceaded New France to the British. The French West Indies with their rich sugar trade were much more important to France then New France with it's poor fur trade. Voltaire himself called Canada "A Few Acres of Snow" to show contempt for Canada and the French Canadian People.
@brazeau2009 French Quebecois being the hypocrites they are love the fact that French was made an Official Language of Canada under the Constittuion Act of 1867 while hating the fact that English was made an Official Language of Quebec under the same Act. It is time for you French Quebecois to grow up and stop persecuting the English Language because you are afraid of Assimiliation. If the French Language is strong and popular in Quebec it does NOT need oppressive laws to protect it.
@RoyalistCavalier it's not good against evil. We are both hypocrite and evil, all human are. Québec is stronger then before, we see every sign of kindness and comprehension as weakness and use it for our advantage, you do the same. We learn English only to use it against you. To be Frank, law 101 will stay, because the people of Québec still hold a grudge against the English. You hate law 101 good, that's the goal...
@brazeau2009The only people who have been assimiliated in Quebec are not the French but the English. In 1851, The English speaking populaiton of the province of Quebec was 24.3%, now it is 7.8%. The English speaking populaiton of Montreal was 52.2% and now it is 13.2% and the English speaking populaiton of Quebec City was 40.8% and now it is 1.5%. I believe this is pathetic and shows that the English populaiton is under siege and I believe the 1851 Demographics should be restored ASAP.,
@smoochym Well, yes, but this guy really did have deadly tuberculosis. He was a real soldier, so probably would have had a tan if not so ill. All that is maybe. An interesting man, at any rate.
Very beautiful! Although somehow Jason doesn't look as beautiful in the powdered wig, too pale. He's whiter in complexion than Lucius! He should really stick to Tavington if he wants to be an 18-century or 19th-century soldier, he looks WAY better that way! Great job!
Dear friend, I suppose the white face is part of the depiction of Gen. Wolfe who was a very ill tubercular patient. If you study the disease, many in England had it. The Bronte family all died of it... so he was usually ill, often missed battles....
Yesm but was common for whole families to have the disease, as did all the five Brontes. Only one lived past forty years old! I used it in my first novel.
He was the leader of the British troops which stormed the heights of Quebec, actually defeating the French who owned it, and with that defeat Britain took control of what we now call Canada! It ended the Seven Years War in Europe,
A Canadian film called New France, I believe, and subtitled Only the Brave as I recall. It is one of his oldies, and not so good, but I LOVE Wolfe as a historic figure. Movie was funded by the father of his then-girlfriend, Emma, now his wife!
A Canadian film, New France, funded by his girlfriend's dad, They are now married. Made some years back, maybe 20 and not a very good film, though I love Jason in it.
Thanks so much! I could only make this bio of one of my childhood heroes because you shared all those beautiful caps with me..... thank you, and enjoy this.
I sort of tried my hand at a bio pic of someone real, since there are so many images of him available. Yes, your Canadian hero! I like Jason playing him! Thanks for 5 and 5!
to everyone talking about Bill 101 and such, just remember, the Italian immigrants and their children in Quebec have found a way to get around all that ridiculousness and I'm sure other groups have too by forging their own neighbourhoods within that crazy province. I'm glad other populations of Euorpeans went there to fight for Canada and have keep separatism at bay if not extinct. Enjoy your precious language Bills, frankly they don't work.
sicilianotoronto 3 months ago
@sicilianotoronto I believe that the British after conquering New France from France should have deported the defeated French Canadian people like how they did to the French Acadian people in the 1750's, had they done this then not only the Dominion of Canada would be a much better place, so to would the province of Quebec. There would be no seperatism in Quebec and their would be no tension and disunity and their would certanly not be laws such as Bill 101 and Bill 22.
Deport the Traitors NOW.

@RoyalistCavalier What the fuck? Kill yourself you scumbag. Quebec is the greatest part of our country.
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood The British and Anglo Canadians are the ones who transformed the province of Quebec into the industrial heartland of the Dominion of Canada. The Anglo Scot Merchants are the ones who transformed Montreal and Quebec City from glorified trading posts into cities of great wealth and importance which rivaled the likes of New York City, Philadelphia and Boston. I dont have any problems against Quebec, I do have problems with the French Quebecois people who have ruiend Quebec.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood The British and Anglo Canadians are also responsible for building some of the greatest landmarks in Quebec City such as the La Citadelle, Chateau Frontenac and the Parliament Building of the province of Quebec. Why would I hate the province of Quebec, as you seem to imply, in fact I love it, it was created by the British in 1763 (Province of Quebec 1763-1791) and in 1867 (Province of Quebec 1867-Present Day). The province of Quebec would be much better if it was much more ENGLISH.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier If Quebec were English it would just be another Ontario. And how can you say that? The French made Quebec what it is. Their French heritage and their modern struggles against the majority make them a proud people with a great culture. And Canada isn't just another US. What defines Canada, is that we are a combination of French and British cultures and values.
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood You are wrong about saying "If Quebec were English it would be another Ontario". This is BS. The English provinces of Canada are very differant from each other. For example, Ontario is differant from Alberta, British Columbia is differant from Saskatchewan and Manitoba is differant from Newfoundland. In matter of fact Quebec is by history, law and culture, surposed to be a BILLINGUAL province comprised of English and French languages and cultures and not MONOLINGUAL like it is today.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood Canada is great today because of BRITISH values and cultures. It was the British Empire that introduced the things that have made Canada a great place to work and live just like it's sisters Australia and New Zealand. The British introduced English Common Law , Constitutiona Monarchy, Free Market Capitalism, Freedom of Speech/Religion/Press, Parliamentary Government, etc. Quebec would be a great place if it were an English provicne or restored to being an English-French province.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood I believe that Quebec would be a Canadian version of Louisiana. The province of Quebec could be linguistically ENGLISH and could be culturally FRENCH. This would make the province of Quebec the best province to live in Canada if this were to occure. Canada would not be another United States if it got rid of French in Quebec, just because they speak English does not mean they are the same, it is like saying Argentina and Mexico are the same because they speak Spanish. Which is WRONG.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier Well you can overcome this problem by learning French. I think you would appreciate Quebec and its people more if you read some early Canadian history. And by early I don't mean Wolfe and 1812, I mean Champlain and Frontenac.
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood Son, the province of Quebec was established to be a BILINGUAL province where both English and French languages and cultures where to be EQUAL. The French Quebecois in my oppion lost their rights when they removed English as an official language of Quebec and made it a 2nd class language and made French sole official language in such laws as Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) and Bill 22 (Official Language Act). I will not learn an oppressive and a looser language as French.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier Well Alberta and Manitoba are monolingual as well with English. How are they different.
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood The provinces of Alberta and Manitoba are monolingual English you are right, but they are very differant culturally. The province of Alberta is conservative and has a western cowboy culture. The province of Manitoba is more liberal and has a more of an artistic and layed back culture. Both the province of Alberta and Manitoba have differant histories, economies and outlooks of life. Oh and so what if Quebec becomes another Ontario, Ontario is the richest and powerull province in Canada
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier Also, according to Wikipedia, Chateau Frontenac was built by an American, and not a Canadian. I also notice your profile says you're from the United States. What's up with that?
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood The Chateau Frontenac was designed and built by an American, you are right, but the Chateau Frontenac was paid for by Canadian Pacific Hotels. Canadian Pacific Hotels (Fairmont Hotels) was an ANGLO CANADIAN company. It was Anglo Canadian money that went to buld this hotel. The British were the ones who built the La Citadelle and Quebec Parliament Buildings and not the ungratefull French Quebecois who currently sit in the Quebec Parliament Buildings.
ANGLO CANADIANS BUILT UP QUEBEC.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood The French Canadian people should be thankfull that the British gave them the Quebec Act (1774) enshuring their rights to speak French, attend the Catholic Church and to observe French Civil Law and the BNA Act (1867) which established English and French as the official languages of Canada and it's province of Quebec. Oh I forgot Quebec belongs to Anglo Canadians and Canada because Great Britain defeated France for it in the French and Indian War (1754-1763). Quebec belongs to Canada.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier Quebec belongs to nobody but the Quebecois. The New France forces were far superior than the English in the Seven Years' War with great victories like Carillon. In fact, the French even took back Quebec City after the Plains of Abraham with the Battle of Sante Foy. They lost because they were betrayed by France.
Additionally, you owe it to the Quebeckers for giving the English somewhere to stay. Most intial anglo-canadians were American loyalists.
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood No you are WRONG. The province of Quebec belongs to ANGLO-CANADIANS and not QUEBECOIS. The Kingdom of France signed away all French and French Canadian (Quebecois) ownership of New France in the Treaty of Paris (1763) to the Kingdom of Great Britain. This means that Quebec belongs to Canada which is the successor of the British Empire in North America and to the Anglo Canadian people. If Quebecois dont like this they can remove themselves and return to France where they belong.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood I dont care if the French won the Battle of Sante Foy, the fact remains is that the British won and the French lost the French and Indian War. France did not waste time in getting rid of New France with it's fur trade which they saw as a drain on the French treasury and which cost France big in money and lives and would rather keep the French West Indies which made France very rich because of it's sugar and coffee trades. Voltaire called New France "A Few Acres Of Snow" of CONTEMPT.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood Alsace-Lorraine used to belong to Germany and the German people, however France defeated Germany in the First World War (1914-1918) and at the Versailles Treaty (1919), Germany was forced to surrender Alsace-Lorraine (Birth Place of the German Language BTW) to France. This means that Alsace-Lorraine belongs to France and the French people and no longer belongs to Germany and the German people. The same situation applies to Quebec which belongs to Canada and Anglo Canadians.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier Ok the French did lose the war. But don't make the mistake of thinking it was because were cowardly or weak fighters. The French were superior and knew the woods like noone else.
Secondly, Quebec no longer belongs to Britain and nor does it belong to English Canada. Before confederation, all the colonies had achieved responsible government. Quebec joined confederation by their own choice. They were on their way to independence regardless, and undoubtedly would have become
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood You are an idiot, Quebec belongs to the Anglo Canadians and they are the successors of the British in North America. The Treaty of Paris (1763) gives full ownership of Quebec to the British Empire and the successors of the British Empire in North America is Canada. No Quebec was not and will never be on their way to independence. I say its time for all the Quebecois traitors to be removed by force if necessary from Quebec and return to France where they belong. Quebec is OURS.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood Britain gave French Canadians a choice, they could accept British rule and swear alliegiance to the crown of Great Britain and stay in Canada, if they did not want to accept British rule and not swear alliegiance to the crown of Great Britain they were to be allowed to return to France at British tax payer expence, they decided to stay and accept British rule and swear alliagience to the crown of Great Britain, so Quebecois who dont like this can pack their bags and return to France.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood Listen pall, Quebec will never gain independence and if they did Canadian patriots will then attack the Quebecois traitors and will either exterminate them or will chase them into the sea. I swear it if the Quebecois try for independence they will end up juist like the Confederate rebels in the south and that is defeated and destroyed. The blood of Quebecois traitors will flow in the streets and whole towns and cities will be left in ruins and Canadian patirots will not show ANY MERCY.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier continued... become independent if they chose not to join confederation. Just like how all of the lesser colonies in Africa and such achieved independence. And Quebec can leave when she wants. Quebec joined confederation as equal partners and by its own decision.
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood Listen pall, Quebec had no choice but to join Canada, it did not join the confederation on an equal partners, it is not a partern of Canada but a part of it. Get this retarded shit out of your idiotic head. Quebec is a province of Canada, nothing more and nothing less. Quebec was never a "Nation" and will never be it. The British formed the current Dominion of Canada out of it's North American colonies. I say it is time to put the dam treasonous Quebeocis like you in their place.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@MajBlood French did not take back Quebec city! and the Quebecois were not betrayed by France. The French won early victories because they held the power of the Natives, once the power of the natives was broken however the British marched 17,000 men into the interior and conquered Montreal. France could do nothing to help the Quebecois because of British naval dominance. The battle of Sainte-Foy was inconsequential because Britain had already won several decisive naval victories
engliscwarrior 3 months ago
@MajBlood Furthermore the French were only good at fighting as skirmishers and ambushing, they could not compete with British infantry in open ground. At Sainte-Foy the British were half starving, outnumbered and had a poor commander. As you see with the British in Europe, during the Seven Years war they were the best infantry in the world, even the French Marshal acknolegded this: "my soldiers do not want to face the English anymore"
engliscwarrior 3 months ago
@engliscwarrior Um yeah but this isn't Europe. The French all the advantage here because most of the battles were forest skirmisher battles. Montcalm also proved the French to be better at defending and sieges. The French had Quebec back in their hands, they could have captured at Sante Foy but they didn't have enough supplies because of British naval blockade.
MajBlood 3 months ago
@MajBlood Well first of all, the French did not take back Quebec with Sainte-Foy, it was impossible for them to do so. They could not conduct a powerful enough siege, they did not have enough guns or supplies, and the Royal Navy was the dominant across the world's oceans.
engliscwarrior 3 months ago
@MajBlood Second of all the problem for the British was not the French, it was firstly; the hundreds of miles of inhospitable terrain: mountains, forests, swamps, rivers, rapids, which made traversing their armies, supplies and artillery a logistical impossibility. This made it very easy for the Indians and French to ambush and defeat their tired and over stretched armies and supply lines. It took geniuses like Amherst and Forbes to do it successfully.
engliscwarrior 3 months ago
@MajBlood The second problem was that the native Indians controlled the balance of power, they sided with the French, which made it impossible for the british to advance. However once their power had been broken from French control it was possible for the British to march on Montreal
engliscwarrior 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier As you say, history is written by the winners. That's why Wolfe is seen by a hero by Englishes and an asshole by Frenches, but it's false to say that that victory was heroic because of the little military forces of New France. I'm not saying Wolfe was some evil character but only that he don't deserve to be called a hero in such circumstances. He did what he had to do and that is all.
hazslayer 3 months ago
@RoyalistCavalier wow...I first thought I could have a sane debate with you dude but apparently you are another chauvinist English Canada produce too much. I'm not going to answer any of your stupidity because I got nothing to prove to you. I'm proud to be québécois and I'd be proud to be Canadian if Canadians like you had enough respect and dignity to recognize me as such. So, if you have nothing interesting to say just stop filling my mailbox. Hope you become more open-minded.
hazslayer 3 months ago
@hazslayer I am not an English chauvinist, it is you Quebecois who are French chauvinist. I do support the Constutiton Act of 1867 which made English and French as official languages of BOTH Canada and it's province of Quebec. English and French languages and cultures were made equal in the province of Quebec, but you people had to ruin the harmoney with your Bill 101 and Bill 22 that made French the sole official language of Quebec and reduced it to a 2nd class language. This is pure OUTRAGE.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer French people are the most intollerant when it comes to language. German was banned in Alsace-Lorraine when France recieved the territory from Germany follwing World War 1, now German is close to death in Alsace-Lorraine and it has been Frenchified. Go read France's language laws and you will see you Quebecois are the acorn that does not fall far from the tree. Great Britain did not ban French in Quebec but created laws (Constution Act 1867 and Quebec Act 1774) to protect it.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer Canada has been way too tollerant of the Quebecois treatment of the English language and culture in the province of Quebec since 1974 when anti-English facist took over and made Bill 22 (Official Language Act) has destroyed Quebec as an English-French bilingual and bicultural province into a French monolingual and monocultural province that it is today. Canada should have warned the leaders they would expect all out war and martla law if they did this and they would have backed of.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer Now if you Quiebecois are not the anti-English bigoted French chauvinst you dont like to be described, then you should replace Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) with Bill 199 (Charter of the French and English Languages). Go read about Bill 199 on the internet and you will see that this bill would restore equalty between English and French Quebecers. No more oppressive anti-English language laws in Quebec and time to turn the clock back before 1974 before this shit occured.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer Here is a list of former French colonies that became British colonies in which French was an official language along with English. They are 1)Province of Quebec (1763-1791), 2)Province of Lower Canada (1791-1841), 3)Province of Canada (1841-1867), 4)Dominion of Canada (1867-1931-Present Day), 5)Province of Quebec (1867-1931-1974, English removed by Quebeocis bigots), 6)Saint Lucia, 7)Dominica, 8)Seychelles, 9)Mauritcus.
No French colonies had English as an official language BTW.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer Did you know that Canada is the only country in the America's to not have had a civil war. All the countries to the south had civil wars including the United States. It is funny that ALL the republics in the America's went through bloody civil wars, violent communist/socialist revolutions and murderours military coups while the only monarchy in the Americas (Canada) never had any of these things. This proves that monarchies are way better then republics. This was due to British rule.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer I have to say it but I believe that the only way for Canada to get rid of it's seperatism in Quebec is to have an American type of civil war in which the nighmare of Quebecois seperatism can be put in it's grave like how Confederate seperatism is dead and buried. There is a time for peace and their is a time for war and the time for peace is comming to an end and the time for war is approaching. Appeasment has not worked and has only emboldend the traitors, what is need is action.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer I believe Canada has been to respecting of the Quebecois and have allowed them to get away with discrimintory laws such as Bill 101 and Bill 22 and to have allowed the Anglo Quebecers and their language and culture to be treated as 2nd class citizens by the ungratefull Quebecois people. Canada should have not had 40 years of Neville Chamberlains at the helm and should had Winston Churchills to deal with this bad behavior. You people cant be trused with the civil rights in Quebec.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@sicilianotoronto I believe it is time that Canada should declare Quebec a renagade province and declare martial law and send in the soliders and marines to Quebec to destroy Quebec separatism/nationalism once and for all. When the soilders and marines have full control over Quebec, they can immediatly arrest the leaders of the PQ and jail them and then strip their supporters of their Canadian citizenship and deport them back to France where they belong. No more appeasing these asshole loosers.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@sicilianotoronto You clearly don't understand what is the situation with immigration a bill 101 in Quebec. 1- the neighbourhoods you describe doesn't exist, only minorities decide to live in English. 2- It's really hypocritical to declare bill 101 a stupidity: EVERY country in the world have laws to protect their languages. Just look BC and the whole lot of chinese people who live there. Do you really think there is no law to protect English their? Revise your laws.
hazslayer 3 months ago
@hazslayer Son you dont know what you are talking about. The Constutiton Act of 1867, declared that BOTH English and French are to the official languages of the Dominion of Canada AND it's province of Quebec. Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) and Bill 22 (Official Language Act) illegally and unconstituionaly removed English as an official language of Quebec and theofore has NO right to obeyed and should never have been created. Quebec is a bilingual and bicultural English-French province
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer You Quebecois are the most ungratefull little shits I have ever heard. Britain gave you the Quebec Act (1763) allowing you the right to speak French, attend the Catholic Church and to obey French Civil Law, and you repaid the British and Anglo Quebecers by creating anti-English language laws such as Bill 101 and Bill 22. When France took over Alsace-Lorraine from Germany, they banned the German language and forced the French language on them.
Quebecois can go back to France ASAP.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer General James Wolfe is a hero to the British Empire, the Dominion of Canada and YES even to the province of Quebec. I consider General James Wolfe to be an army version of Admire Lord Horatio Nelson. Both of these great military leaders died bravely in battle. General James Wolfe died in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham and Admiral Lord Horoatio Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar. These 2 men are the greatest heroes that Great Britain has everr produced.
HAIL THESE HEROES.

@hazslayer I am sick and tired of the ungratefulness of the Quebecois people. These pricks dont realise how great the British and Anglo Canadians treated them. France has literally klled the German language in Alsace-Lorraine and is killing of the Breton language in Brittanny. There is no seperatism or language division in Alsace-Lorraine, so I guest France had the right idea, had the British did this to the Quebecois, then the seperatism and language divsion you see in Quebec today would not be
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago

A shame really...
niHonRanDomSnippeR 7 months ago
@niHonRanDomSnippeR I know that. And you can't really get mad at him for burning a few houses down. Everybody else was doing it and he didn't have much choice in the matter, since Amherst was his commander. And everyone knows Amherst was a mega dick. And the British Empire just saved the good people of Quebec 30 years in advance of the French Revoluton. The upper class French nobleman didn't give a crap about the Canadiens. Louis XV wasn't long saying "fuck 'em" when things got tough in the war.
MajBlood 7 months ago
@MajBlood Indeed, France didn't give a crap about Canadians because otherwise the result of this war would be really different. The reason it sounds really a big shame to me that wolfe is called a "hero" is that he got a big armada and a big army against a few hundreds of civilian canadian. It wasn't war...it was murder. A massive murder cleared in 15 minutes. OK Quebec choose to not capitulate but the Royal Army had the choice to reduce the number of deaths.
hazslayer 7 months ago 2
@hazslayer Brilliant reply! It was not really a war but a massacre. It wasn't really necessary to kill civilians to achieve victory since they did not resist the British troops, because they were trying to live their lives.Yet Wolfe resorted to terror tactics, which does not make a fine military commander at all. Then again, that's all the Brits ever do. We can't forget what they did to the Zulus and the Boers, nor what they did to the Native Americans in Canada.
niHonRanDomSnippeR 7 months ago
@niHonRanDomSnippeR Why dont you stop preaching to the choir about British war crimes against the Zulus and Afriakaners in South Africa and to Native Americans in Canada. I am sick&tired of this crap.
RoyalistCavalier 3 months ago
@hazslayer I woudln't say the situation was that dire for the French. Wolfe only had one cannon at the Plains of Abraham and Montcalm had a decent sized force. If Montcalm waited for his lieutenant, Bougainville to arrive with reinforcements before attacking, Montcalm would have doubtlessly won. And it wasn't like wars today where people fought until unconditional surrender. It is very possible that Quebec could have held out long enough to make it to the peace settlement.
MajBlood 7 months ago

SHAME ON ALL YOU UNGRATEFULL PEOPLE.

MalfoyGrandma77 2 years ago
Sounds nasty.
DianaoftheMoon 2 years ago
Yesm but was common for whole families to have the disease, as did all the five Brontes. Only one lived past forty years old! I used it in my first novel.
MalfoyGrandma77 2 years ago
Wow, that's so sad!
DianaoftheMoon 2 years ago
Yes, sad for poor James Wolfe too! But at least he did something his country considered very great!
MalfoyGrandma77 2 years ago
What did he do?
DianaoftheMoon 2 years ago
He was the leader of the British troops which stormed the heights of Quebec, actually defeating the French who owned it, and with that defeat Britain took control of what we now call Canada! It ended the Seven Years War in Europe,
MalfoyGrandma77 2 years ago
Wow, that's pretty big! At least he was able to do something important before he died.
DianaoftheMoon 2 years ago
He was a soldier from age 13, and studied hard at it, so he certainly has earned his Hero status in both Canada and Britain! Hard Work!
MalfoyGrandma77 2 years ago
Well, good for him. :)

hes bloody gorgeous!
what film is it from?
livbeats 2 years ago
A Canadian film called New France, I believe, and subtitled Only the Brave as I recall. It is one of his oldies, and not so good, but I LOVE Wolfe as a historic figure. Movie was funded by the father of his then-girlfriend, Emma, now his wife!
MalfoyGrandma77 2 years ago
A Canadian film, New France, funded by his girlfriend's dad, They are now married. Made some years back, maybe 20 and not a very good film, though I love Jason in it.
