And those are just in 2008. There are tons of good films that most Indians have never even heard of. It's a shame, truly is. 3 Idiots was one of a kind, but most Indian movies are horrible, remakes, rip offs, etc. because people swallow them up like they did with Ghajini.

Memento was nothing like Ghajini. Why do so many suck up the Americans? Ghajini was by far, one of the most thrilling films I have watched in Kollywood. I really dont have to agree on that, Original Ghajini from Tamil was the best because it was original and the acting of Surya was the best part of it.
I agree there are some improvements in this edition of Ghajini and simply is the climax of the film but the whole film was no different than the tamil version. The background music, the songs ... If I have to say, i will say Tamil Ghajini simply rocked !
