  • Hey What kind big cat fish black and wihte? I want black ghost soon -put with brown africa knife fishes

  • dude your killing your fish while it is flipping out not cool

  • This is no way to treat a KnifeFish. You need to darken the tank and add more decor.

  • it looks tormented its too bright and it looks like it has a swim bladder problem

  • this is wonderfull!!!

  • @AnitaClementeP Sorry Anita, you know nothing about fishes in aquarium. you may mean the fishes are wonderfull?

  • Ghost knives need at least 150 gallons when fully grown, are nocturnal and need many hiding places. What the hell were you thinking when you bought it?

  • predivna riba ja sam odusevljen :D like :)

  • Does it make noise at night???

  • @chiily1997

as the name says, makes sounds exactly like a ghost

  • What size does is it when you first get it?

If it is use to other small fish when it is young will it still eat them when it gets older?

Where can you buy your own black ghost knife fish?

Is it hard to take care of?

What kind of fish can you keep with it?

Ive read on other sights that you have to keep the cage with a cap on the top because they ve been known to jump out of there cage is this true?

thanks for answering my questions. i think im going to get one! :D

  • @chiily1997 size

    - can be anywhere from 1 in to 4 in

    - it SHOULDNT eat them if you put them all in at the same size and they grow together

    - buy your own at local fish stores, petsmart sometimes has them or online. usually about $10-$20

-they can be easy to take care of, given enough hiding spots and dark places. pvc works good

-keep them with similar size non or semi aggresive fish

-and ive never had any fish jump out even with no lids

  • i love the fish, black ghost's are awesome, but this fish needs a tank that is at least 75 gallons, for 1 ghost knife. keeping 2 bkg's together is very ill advised for such a small enclosure. if i were going to keep two together, i would at least have a 240 gallon aquarium, just to give them established territories. food for thought.

  • is it agressive

    will it eat other fish

    what does it eat??

  • @chiily1997 I'll gladly answer,

    1. It's semi-agressive, so keep it alone or with community fish. "If you don't touch me I won't kill you"

    2. Don't keep it with smaller fish

    3. I feed mine bottom feeder pellets

  • the tank is 2 small to keep 2 together

  • horrible , poor apteronotus

  • holy shit thats horrible. they need more space and SHADE

  • looks completely freaked out

  • you are killing your knife fish day to day, you don´t know nothing about knife fish...first and last....and basic, a big acuarium and decoration plants or object to create a dark places for this fish, ok??

  • get a bigger tank u cruel bastard and dark places to hide i hat it when children keep fish and dont no what there doin

  • are they blind or something

  • @AwesomeAssassin1000

Well, they're mostly blind, but they navigate with a special organ that creates weak electric waves.

AND THAT FISH NEEDS SEVERAL HIDING SPOTS, THIS GUY IS A MORON.

  • I don't think jmkn58710 speaks English. And the channel is not available...

I agree, the tank is too small, especially for 2 of those fish in one tank.

  • This fish has major ITCH and the tank is WAY to SMALL! WTF DUDE

  • dude you need a bigger tank he can barely move around in there

  • Hi i wanted to know if its ok to keep this fish with 5 mollies, 3 angels, 1 dwarf gourami, and 5 albino cory catfish in a 75 gallon decorated and planted tank? I also wanted to get a red tail shark but not if it will be to territorial for the knifefish. My Ghost knife is only about 3 inches right now.

  • So Wud u say I can keep 2 in 1 tank 50gal?

  • @FunE4life when in doubt, use the good old 1in per 1gallon rule, and it also depends on how much stuff you have in the tank besides the fish

  • How long can I keep 2 BGKs in a 55gal for a temporary time...(estemation please)?

And can two ghost knifes b in one tank?

  • @FunE4life well i would separate them at NO bigger then 5 cm in length these fish should never go in one tank

  • people need to grow a pair and realize they need to part with their beloved fish if it gets too big. Hopefully in a year or two when mine has grown a few more inches I'll have a 125 gallon, but otherwise Im gonna have to sell him to someone willing to keep him in a nice big tank.

  • HEY DUDE, IF YOPU SEE YOUR FISH RUBBING AGAINST STUFF, THAT MEANS THEY MIGHT HAVE ICK

  • Comment removed

  • Perfectly fine tank for the fish - yes I know how big they get, I keep one.

  • That tank is far to small for two huge black ghosts like that GET A BIGGER TANK!

  • did anyone see the other bgk in the corner? there 2 full grown bgks in a 40 gallon-looking tank. NOT GOOD.

  • wtf that hoplo is huge

  • hmmmm...thats a 10-15 inch bgk!? holy s*** i cant wait until MINE gets that big. :3

hes about 4 inches now, my cute little zeke.

  • i'd recommend you get a larger tank.

  • @zaracki92 are you kidding? That tank is pretty big. With a fish that gets 20 inches, the biggest thing you have to worry about is it having a tank that has enough room for him to turn around in width and length. I'd say the tank is just right.

  • @PartAwesome sure it can turn around in it but wont be really happy in such limited space. The tank doesnt look all that big.

  • @zaracki92 He doesn't even show the entire tank! If that knife fish got that big in the tank, and didn't die before it reaches maturity, it's clearly in a tank that is large enough for him. I doubt you'd be very amused if I went to all of your videos and told you all of the things wrong with your stocking

  • @PartAwesome go ahead, I don't mind criticism. I wouldn't be amused at anything you have to say, as i know my tanks more than you would. if you didn't notice already, both side glasses of the tank are visible, so I'm guessing that's the whole tank? See the thing is, I'm not talking about the fish getting stunt or dying. I'm saying it would enjoy having a longer tank to swim around in.

P.S. I'm waiting for your comments on my videos.

  • he is awesome i cant wait till mine gets this big
