To melonpun: you have been deceived by the myth that mohamed was illiterate to confirm that the quran is revealed from God. Mohamed was very intelligent man, he wrote the quran with the help of a former Christian monk Raheb Bohaera who told him many things about the Torah and Jesus' gospel. God or Gabriel never spoke to mohamed. Wake up it is a deception.

of course it's up to u to believe what i say but i have made my search & found the proofs that quran is the word of God:1-it includes references to astounding scientific facts that have been just recently discovered.such facts r related to astronomy,creation of man,earth,medicine,plants..how the foetus develops inside his mother's womb..etc

2-Quraan refered to events which'll happen in the future like predicting in ch30:2 the victory of Romans after their defeat by persians

To ReflectionHouse: NO offend, the quoran isn't the word of God. Not everyone use the name of God is a prophet. The violent passages in the quran indicate that this book is written to achieve personal military and sect's purposes. I am an Arab I read Arabic very well you can't persuade me that the quran is peaceful book. Example: If one violent commandant found in one thousand peaceful passages indicates contradictories and illegibility to fit in the category of God's Word. Salam

it's strange u just insist that quran isnt the word of God ignoring all the evidences that prove the contrary!u say there r violent passages in quran.well have u ever read about the occasion on which they were reveald?if u have a look at prophet Muhamad's biography or even the islamic history u'll find that muslims were severely PERSECUTED by the pagans in Mecca.that's why verses were revealed for the muslims to fight those PAGANS to defend themselves.this's not violence but self defense.

plz don't interpret verses out of context. quran was revealed in stages.every verse is related to certain occasion & for ur info the torah & gospel prophesied that Prophet muhamad'll come .when p.muhammad sent a messenger to Heraclius inviting him to islam, the latter said he knew that Muhammad is a true prophet of Allah coz their books tell of his coming but he didn't join islam coz he was afraid of Romans

As for the christian bishop Daghatir who was a prominent figure at the time on hearing about Muhamad's message,he recognized Muhammad as a prophet & said that Muhammad was mentioned in the Scriptures.he accepted islam but as a result he was beaten to death by his courtiers.u may need to make more search on that issue

3-there is no grammatical error in Quran,not even a tiny one although arabic(in which quran's written)is one of the most difficult languages.(can an illiterate persondo that?!) 4-as for Bahire,he met Muhammad only once in Syria during muhammad's travel with a Meccan caravan, accompanying his uncle & he was only 12 years old

Bahira' knew from the scriptures that a prophet was expected to come after Jesus and when he saw Muhammad He noticed many things about his appearance which fitted the description in the old manuscripts.This's the only encounter between bahira & Muhammad as narrated by historians,but what u said is based on fabricated narrations or a mere hearsay.make sure of its authenticity.if u wanna find out more about quran plz visit one of these web sites:

I was raised in Islamic surrounding, which permits me to know the violent of quran and violent of Islam more than my self. In reality Islam during mohamed era used allah name to approve their religion. Allah never spoke through the quran. If Allah of quran is God the Creator and the same Allah of the Christians and the Jews it would be impossible to command the muslims to kill His followers that follow Him through Torah and bible. It is contradictory therefore allah of the quran is not the same. EXAMPLE: I could star religion and claim Allah spoke to me; does it mean I am a prophet and my allah is God the Creator?

Allah in Arabic bible isn't the same allah of quran.

There are many gods "allahs". However, there is one PEACEFUL God. Allah of quran commands the moslems to kill Jews, Christians, and the unbelievers in allah. Allah of the bible commands His worshippers to love all mankind including the enemies. I hope you have learned the difference between Allah the Creator and allah of Islam. There are many gods, god of nature, moon, love, and hate, etc.

But we worship the peaceful God the Creator.

well i'd like to correct some concepts for u:1-Muhammad is neither the founder of islam nor the auther of quran simply coz he was illeterate.that's why it's miraculous.Quran is word of Alah while Muhammad has his own sayings and they r distiguished from Quran.Quran was revealed on Muhamad through angel Gabriel sent by Allah.Quran has only one version in Arabic.

At the time there were lots of people who were very knowledgeable about the Arabic language and they were challenged to produce anything equal to quran but nobody was challenged to produce somethingthing equal to Muhamad's sayings.

2-proof that Allah of bible is the same as Allah of quran:He says in Quran:It is He Who has sent down the Book(Qurân)to you(Muhammad)with truth,confirming what came before it.And he sent down the Torah and the Gospel.(ch3:3).

3-in ch5,verse32,Allah says that if anyone kills someone unjustly,it's as if he had murdered all mankind and if anyone saved a life,it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind.that is,To murder even one person is totally opposed to the moral teaching of Quran.The one's just commanded to fight those who attack him and not the innocent people whatever their religion is.quran never advocated killing(plz don't interpret verses out of context.every verse has occasion in which it was revealed)
