You Tube is the perfect avenue for pinheads to show their immaturity. There is always a segment that can't handle freedom of speech. If someone doesn't like what you do for a living, don't watch your channel. Hit the "unsubscribe" button! You do not owe anyone in this community anything. None of us do. Keep on doing what you want forever.

Hey Taunia....just a few words....You look great BTW- But some people who are not far enough out or new to this do not realize that although we may be uberconsumed with the process (because it is new to us) that life does go on. I am having my surgery in a few weeks and I know that my life will not orbit around WLS after I begin to live life again. RIGHT ON, Taunia! Eloquent, as always. Like many others who have posted, your WLS channel was the first I ever watched on YT, and that was about 9 months ago, so i backtracked all the way to Day One. You have inspired me, and your story continually adds to my own journey. I am grateful for that. I had gastric bypass surgery 6 months ago and I can honestly say that your videos helped me come to this life changing decision. So, I'd like to say, "Thank You=)" You are a great inspiration not only due to your work for WLS, but as a woman who is an artist and has a family. The haters will hate, but your videos are posted and people can always follow your journey without making unrealistic demands.
Taunia, I've struggled with the fact that I haven't been online much and felt guilty at not posting much anymore because I have been so busy with work and stuff. However, I think we all do the best we can. And isn't the best example of success in getting ones life back postop the fact that we once again have a life? Cont'd.. Acting in that manner won't help this persons attitude toward their wls. There are changes that have to take place, both on the inside an d outside as well as physically AND MENTALLY!! This person needs to evaluate why and how they will accomplish the goals they have set for themselves and not try to belittle someone elses life becuz they have finished. I THANK YOU!! I have not had surgery and probably don't qualify becuz i don't weight enough. I have taken inspiration from ALL the wls people who have posted their journeys. I like each and every one. We have have to live our OWN lives too. That person was being very selfish in not cariing about what goes on in Your life as If You can live THEIRS! HOW RUDE!! There's plenty people who are just getting started and cqn maybe go at their pace but to make suce a negative comment is very rude.

Like, why are you watching my vids if you have some problem with me or WLS? lol. We are trying to help others but have to deal with the negative wrath as well. You do you girl.
@Kellawanda I know...some people thrive on negativity. Most of the time I let it roll of my back. It's almost easier if someone is just plain mean - because you know they're just sad. Hi, just wondering if you got my message on u maybe looking into HYPOGLYCEMIA? That might be a big reason why you have anxiety and other issues. Lots of bypass patients have this.
I also suggested you read all books by Geneen Roth, that may help with some of the other things your still dealing with.
@melisnl I am admittedly behind in my messages. :) I know about Geneen Roth, and have been tested for hypoglycemia. Just a nervous nelly, I guess! lol
