so sad how people who come from poor places and have tragedies and sadnes in their lives more than 200 years ago or so. Now they are so adored and loved and we all are curious and grateful for them.
i lost friends and pets that i loved but the lost of a parent or a sibling must be definetly heart breaking in a way it cannot be mend.
i can not imagine mary's every day life under the commandments of that sadistic teacher.i wonder what happend to her after the publication of the book.
That and the Arabian nights and Gulliver's travels and Blackwood magazines...
In their Angria world they were Chief Genies: Genie Tallie, Brannie, Emmie and Annie. An attempt perhaps to regain some sort of control at least in a fictional world?
Which film of Jane Eyre is this? The Timothy Dalton one? The film version of Wuthering Heights is the BBC 1978 version. (one that actually covers the whole book faithfully!)
