Water World was doomed from the beginning. First off, it was a game based off of a movie. Not only was it based on a movie, but people HATED that movie. If that was not bad enough, it was on the Virtual Boy. How much more doomed can you get?

I'm surprised but this isn't even worth that much as a collectors item. I mean I could grab warioland and the console with shipping included for less then the price of one new game from ebay right now. I guess it's not that rare. Saw one at a local yard sale for 10 bucks with some games about 10 years ago. Wish my parents wouldn't have been so cheap lol. Would be a fun to just have sitting on my shelf.

@Sheeprwer Haha ya I played a demo machine at a local blockbuster around when it came out (Mario tennis I think) and it gave me a cracking headache and I only played it for about 5 mins while my dad picked out a movie. Definitely not something you could play for hours. Also really uncomfortable to play and I'd imagine corking your neck forward for hours on end would hurt after awhile.

I remember reading somewhere that the Virtual Boy was a prototype, but as you said nintendo cared more about the pending 64. One thing that I recall was that the VB was originally intended to be worn like the headset, and retained clips in its production state that pointed to this. They were never used however.

@falconpunch94 No, you don't want to have played it. It was an epic failure. Hurts your eyes after playing for just 2 minutes, monochrome makes it hard to see on most 3D games (Considering they thought it was "cool" to use nothing but Render Lines), It was extremely awkward to hold and play, if you did bother to use the batery pack it keeps falling off when you rest the controller on the table, everything was wrong with it, you should be glad the UK didn't get it xP

I had a Virtual Boy when I was a kid. Wario Land was great. Only thing I didn't like about it was the need for 6 AAA batteries that didn't really keep it powered for very long, and my neck would get sore from the position I'd have to sit in to use it.
