The reasoning on that is that Magneto's power is so powerful that it it could come back but yeah that's also true. He was shot with three so other's power could come back but I have a feeling Mystique might be a bit sore with him. Lol.

The cure in the Comic's turned out to be a failure. Mystique ended up going solo.
