Interesting but, Wtf is he talking about we arn't having any sunspots. We've had loads this year and solar eruptions that have been proven to cause large earthquakes, New Zealand, Japan, and even shifted Earths orbit. We have'nt reached solar max yet, so come back the end of 2013 and say we haven't had any sunspot activity. That's when we reach solar max, not 2011.

What about all the other super vulcano eruptions around the world, do they tie in with your theory ?

Re: the amount of CO2 in seawater. Yes, the oceans are sinks for carbon dioxide but the CO2 is not simply dissolved as Mr Felix suggests: it is changed to carbonate therefore his simplistic analogy of a soda pop bottle does not hold water or fizz. The important concept here is the possible change in pH if too much CO2 ;dissolves" into seawater. To say that we have NO effect of the earth by burning a trillion tons of carbon in the last 100 years or so speaks to some belief system not science.

A while back I checked the types of emissions by volcanoes. I did NOT find that they typically emit appreciable carbon dioxide. Sulfur dioxide--yes, ash-- yes, but unless the magma passed through a layer of limestone or other carbonate rocks volcanoes do not produce CO2.

@takforalt Really, you need to do more research. Typically the gases emitted, accorded by volume, are water, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide. No spin, just fact.

@RedIceRadio I was referring to his dates. I just helped my girlfriend do a report on Earth's Glacial and Interglacial periods over the last few million years. I was noticing that a lot of the dates he gives do not make sense. As well as what I have been studying that, yes the cycle would show that we would eventually head towards another ice age, but that could take thousands of years, and before that happens we could have a total melt down, an end to this interglacial period completely.
