  • @DarkSkysify Speaking of Tamiyas with alloy front shocks...I really, r e a l l y want a Sand Scorcher!

  • durga is the real dill

  • Just how effective was that single front shock, I wonder. After all you don´t see many buggies with a similar arrangement nowadays...

  • @Del350K4 had one of this boomerang in 1/10 scale back in the 80s, the front single shock was sturdy enough but now you can get alloy

  • Great stuff... Anyone know where i can get these vintage tamiya videos in DIVX / XVID / AVI format??

I'd love to download them in a better quality

  • Tamiya have re issued it and apparently have made some improvements. It was shit back then in it's day, a cheap way to get into 4wd. And it certainly wasn't capable of 'bringing victory at the track' lol as the div narrating suggests!!!

  • "nah it was just shit back then.... pure shit" Did you own one or are you just making this up?

  • Good news on the re-release. Now if only Tamiya would re-release the Monster Beetle...

  • sounds like bob barker...

  • is it only me or does the voice sounds like vince mcmahon?

  • very true, i agree

  • ya it was the shhit back then but now its brushless

  • nah it was just shit back then.... pure shit

  • yup yup... BOOMER!

  • This was a fantastic buggy, brothers had first release, then i inherited it, was devastated when the wish bones broke, sat in cupboard for years after that. hopefully, tamiya will re-release!

  • I still have my Boomerang, waiting for a new motor & esc. This was the first buggy I raced back in da 80's.

  • This was the car i owned during my teens. I fell in love with it whilst my brother owned it and he used to occossionly let me have a goes on it. It was awsome the handling, acceleration the four wheel drive made it go through grassy surfaces. And when you ran it on the 8.4 battery and VZ tecnic cold motor it was breath taking. Those days were the best.
