Here's to real R&B music! Although I'm afraid it's gone probably for good. Maybe we'll get good artists like Mary J Blige who recorded remakes of those great songs of the 70's like "Sweet Thang" and "I'm Goin' Down".
Even 90's hip-hop artist sampled some of those good old songs and kept the vibe going through their music. The income generated from it was good also! lol.

I miss Quiet Storm so much! It really was romantic sounding throughout the '80s; then it gradually became boring, dull until finally merging with hip hop/electropop.

@VinylKidReborn yes unfortunately Sean is gone too. He died March 28th 2008. He was in jail at the time of his death. The details are sketchy but from what I understand it sounds like he may have needed medical attention but did not get it right away or something to that affect.
I can remember laying in bed at night, and just listening to this during the Quiet Storm. I would never make it to the end of the song cuz I would fall asleep, this song was that relaxing to me. And, this was/is one of my favorite songs by them:)
