Are you sure train 2 is an empty grain? A train of covered coal gondolas comes of Cargill near Eddyville, IA carrying cattle feed. This one looks like the eastbound counter part to that train would.

The the first letter, X or T refers to a grain train.

That 9392 ACE is rare. Today you mostly see ACE's with nose headlight units, but these were at the top of the cab. Good catch.

Rare? Not at all. The Ottumwa Sub is a coal route so these things come through all the time.

It's the total opposite on the UP. It's extremely rare to see an ACe with headlights on the nose. Although, UP does have several units like that.
