Okay, so in season 1 they ORIGINALLY gave all the digimon megas but dropped them all except Agumon and Gabumon. Tai's Agumon - WarGreymon Matt's Gabumon - MetalGarurumon Izzy's Tentomon - HerculesKabuterimon Mimi's Palmon - Rosemon Sora's Biyomon - Pheonixmon Joe's Gomamon - Pleisiomon Then in the first (I think) movie, Angemon can magically WARP digivole (?) and Angewomon can digivolve. TK's Patamon - Seraphimon Kari's Gatomon - Megadramon So I have somthing to say. Season 4+ STINKS

@ImpmonGod Close, but not exactly. It wasn't that they gave Final evolutions to all of the Chosen Digimon in Digimon Adventure, and then they dropped them.

It's that most (except for two) had evolutions defined before or while the show was going. During then, Seraphimon didn't exist yet, and Plesiomon wasn't yet defined to evolve from Zudomon.

But they were never given to the individuals that show up in the show until it was over. They were given them in the D-Terminal and the 02 games.

also tentomon's mega lvl is herculeskabuterimon. biyomon's phoenixmon and gomamon's too. they never show them though :'( too bad. only patamon and gatomon got mega lvl later

i looked on wikipedia awhile back, and actually yhis is palmons final evolution. even though it is from savers. it was just never seen in the show. but palmon van digivolve as far as wargreymon and metalgarurumon.

Lilymon evolves into Rosemon by Jogress with Delumon [Pen4.5]. However card Bo-180 shows that the Jogress is not required, and the D-Terminal confirms her as Tachikawa Mimi's Lilymon's evolution.

i personally think they need to have set in stone evolutions. digimon is toooo confuseing. why eles would they have te digmon digivole to the same evolutinos? besides. didnt jedi tell the destians that metalgreymon was agumon's natural ultamate form and not skullgreymon. so what is rosemon's natural ultamite? lillymon. the creators are trying to get people into digimon again. so they are doing everything they can. i dont think they orginally wanted digimon to digivolve into any o digimon

@pepercat17 They added a lot of extra dialogue in the dub. So it isn't a reliable source. But even if he said it, Gennai (not Jedi, pronounced with a hard-G. They messed up in the dub.) is just a character. He could have been wrong. In this case, he has to be wrong:

Digimon have had branched evolutions since the Digital Monster came out in 1997 June 26, being a Tamagotchi, which have been evolving that way since the Gen-1 in 1996. Besides, this isn't even the original purple virus Metal Greymon.

Digimon don't have set evolution lines. Just look at the card game. Even Angewomon can Digivolve to Rosemon, too. Just like how Agumon can Digivolve into either Greymon or GeoGreymon. Rosemon is just one Digimon that has various devolved forms.

Exactly. "May be." There's no credible proof, though. Unless you get a Toei executive to tell me that they were originally going to use Lotusmon instead of Rosemon, it's not officially true. But it's a good theory.
